Sounds like a fun mother daughter day yesterday and lots of good savings on Friday.

Don't feel bad about cancelling LTT on the day of...its not a hot get ADR and its done all the time, look at it this way the day you do it you will be spreading magic to a party of 3 that is standing there looking sad and suddenly in a guest relation computer the slot has opened because of YOU feel better now ??

Monday Aug 26th is THIS a definite ? The Chef M still on we still have the ADR there? Know you were re-thinking when we said BB that day I can do both but MUST know for sure as soon as you know so I can arrange work schedule for that night I can do a switch with someone else (need to let higher ups know as I WILL be back to regular job by then)

Ruthie, love your ticker.I thought about getting one, but I am afraid if the birthday girl passed by while I was on disboards, she may pick up on that. I doubt she would be able to read quicker than I could get the page minimized, but she may catch a glimpse of the ticker. I had one before, so she may recognize what it is. Other wise I would LOVE one.

Again - thank you all for the nice Mother's day wishes. We had a very nice day here at home.
We were going to go out for brunch, but after looking at the budget this week, it just wasn't in the cards, as we had so many other extras we were doing. Which is totally OK with me, I am just as happy when I have my girls around me.
Victoria made me chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast (which was more like lunch - LOL), they were delicious. She also made me the most adorable card, which is now on a shelf in my sewing room.
I worked all morning yesterday until 1:30... Then I laid down to take a nap... It was so nice to have one. I feel like I want one every day, but I push through it. So, that was my gift to myself.
Then, Josh made me my favorite dinner. Rib eye steaks with baked potatoes. And I made a strawberry spinach salad for on the side, it was very delicious and all of it hit the spot.
After dinner, we watched Tommy Boy and went to bed. All in all - it was a perfect day. If only it had been warmer outside.
Today... Well, right away this morning, I have to run my car up to BFF's uncle's house, he is doing some maintenance on it for me. He was supposed to do it on Friday, but he had a scheduling conflict. Since I am swamped in my sewing room this week, bff is letting me take her car back home so I don't have to waste a day of work in my sewing room while I am waiting on my car. We will likely swap out tomorrow.
I will be starting my next custom order today. This is a bag I've been dreading for months, because the applique is going to be very difficult. I sure hope I can pull it off. Not only that, but I have my auction bag that has to be ready by Wednesday afternoon. I am not sure how I am doing to get it all done, and I am very anxious about it. I have known about this week for a while now, and I should have done more to prep for it.
Anyways - I better get going... I have so much to do today, and I need to make the most of it.
