Thanks Lisa.

I KWYM... I told the girls when we did their rooms a couple years ago, there would be no doing them again... besides - we did such bright colors - we'll never be able to cover it up. :scared:

Great news! We arrive in the World on the 6th. :goodvibes

Super excited - and I cannot wait to hear about Mark's reaction!

**********************************************************

So, yesterday, I worked in my sewing room for a couple of hours in the morning. I managed to finish my current bag - I just have one last detail to work on this morning. I plan to have pictures up before lunch. :thumbsup2 I am very happy with how it turned out, and the appliques are perfect for it... I am in love with this fabric too!

Then, yesterday, we went to see the movie we promied the girls... Rise of the Guardians. Good movie - good Christmas spirit movie. We left and Josh was all in the mood for Christmas - it was so nice. ::yes::

Josh put a ham in the roaster yesterday, so when we came home, we had a nice ham dinner waiting for us - and Josh even made his "famous white gravy"... Numilicious! That is a rare treat for us, he only makes it about once per year these days - and we all LOVE it.

Then, Josh helped the girls with their homework... and I was a lazy butt, and sat in my recliner and watched Extreme RVs and Pawn Stars. :thumbsup2

I plan to start my next bag this morning. popcorn::

Tomorrow, our furniture store is coming over (weird, I know, but I don't know what else to call it)... I noticed the other day that one of the arms on our love seat is loose, so they are sending someone out to see if it can be fixed or if they are sending me a new love seat. I am sure they will probably "fix" it so it lasts just until the warrany is up. :sad2:

I also have a hair appointment tomorrow... I am in desperate need of my highlights being done... There is way more gray on my head than there should be at my age. Note to self: need to have my hair colored more frequently. :rolleyes1

All of our gifts are wrapped and under our tree... Except those from Santa and what I need to finish up in my sewing room. So, that is a big relief. I have never had the gifts wrapped and under the tree this early - so I am a bit nervous about that.

I still have one more box to get in the mail to Brian and Myrthe... The girls and I are going to look for something cute and little to put in the box for the baby - since we have a bit of space left in there. :lovestruc

I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I will be back later with pictures. :thumbsup2

D~

It sounds like you are really set for Christmas! My dog (a golden doodle named Ellie) would have those under the tree packages opened in a hurry! Out tree sits behind a baby gate most of the time.
A request to anyone in Disney now or soon.... I would love a 2013 calendar! Usually we have been down there or know someone who is going, but that didn't happen this year. Only a few more weeks left on this one. If someone could pick it up,please let me know and I will get payment to you!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Ruth

You are going to be an Aunt!!! :woohoo: Very sad that you won't get to see him or her very often. :sad1: My neice lives about 4.5 hours from us. She had a baby 5 months ago and we just go to meet him this past weekend. He was SO PRECIOUS!!! I still have many years to go before it happens, but it made me excited to be Grandma someday! :goodvibes

Funny story about MM eating Eyore's ear. :rotfl2: Have you seen the Dog Shame page on FB? That story sounded perfect for the Dog Shame page. It is such a funny page, you should check it out! :thumbsup2

Love, love, love this bag...

I used the Fairy Frost fabric again - and I know you can't see it in the pictures, but this bag SPARKLES! It's so cool and fitting! :cool1:

I love how both appliques turned out... The Castle on the front really does have a "dream like" quality to it.

And I love the Monorail applique on the back... I used black Fairy Frost for the windows - so they sparkle too. :woohoo:

I see a lot more Fairy Frost in my future... :rolleyes1 It is a beautiful fabric to work with.

I love the bag D.

I need to order some fairy frost for a skirt for C for our trip. I love fairy frost.

first this is Ruthie............IE..Eeee :rotfl2:

:lmao:

D~ if you really want to cut down on the confusion, you can call me RAT or Bruce. Or we could be Classic Ruth, New Ruth and RuthIE. :rotfl:

T Doesn't play with his toys much: although last night he was laying down with his nose in his toy spot, right between his little squeaky lion and fluffy weasel.

Love the bag so very much! The Castle is perfect and the lining was made for it!

I haven't been able to sit down at the sewing machine, but I am knitting a ruffle scarf for one of my SILs. So at least I feel like I'm accomplishing something.

Love the new bag! You know I love that castle...but the monorail is awesome! And I bet that sparkly fabric is amazing in person. I kinda feel bad for the little monorail though....he shouldn't be stuck on the back of the bag. Nobody will see it! It deserves its own UPB I think ::yes:: A monorail would make a really good GAC pouch for Bradey too...let me know when your list opens up the next time. What would that be....2015 now?? :rotfl2:

Oh, and I was wondering about Rise of the Guardians....it looks like it might be a little more for the tweens/teens. Do you think a 6 year old would like it? Anything sorta scary in it? I really really want to see it, but I thought I might have to take my nephews instead.

Lovely bag and the monorail is awesome. It's a shame that not many people will see it since it's on the back of the bag. Love the little detail on the monoral where a little thing (don't know what it is called) is standing out of the bag almost in front of the monorail. The Fairy Frost fabric looks great and I can imagen that it looks even better in real life.

Hope Ali is feeling better (I had the stomach flu, but the mild one with no vomitting, but I got the viral thing in the chest to go with it ).

LOVE the new bag...it is wonderful.

J's ham and gravy sound absolutely marvelous.

Oh boy, we just got back to our rooms from Epcot and I checked in on the DIS to see a beautiful castle/monorail backpack! I love it! I'm gonna have to figure out a way to wear it backwards to show off the monorail equally ;) It's just perfect. We're heading home tomorrow, so I'll have to book a trip for next month so I can use it! I showed the pictures to my daughter, and she just kept asking "how does she do that???" She is amazed (as I am!)

Congrats on becoming an Auntie!!!!

GORGEOUS BAG!!! I love how well everything goes together.

Hope Allie is feeling better. Sorry the teachers didn't do what they said they would do. Makes me know to keep on my kids teacher's if we ever have issues like that.
