Aug. 2011 Flights!!

WOW, I have started looking for flights and the prices are soo high. I just booked a week ago for 6 to Orlando for $79.00 each-way from CT...Hoping, they come down a bit so I can book my Aug. vacation!!

I will join you on this thread and we can be miserable together about August fares!

We are trying to go Rochester, NY to Orlando August 3-14 with a group of 7. I keep monitoring daily but flights are way higher than usual.

We have gone airtran for just my family of four before for in the 600s! I usually set a goal of trying to pay 800 for my fam of four for air to disney. I look for flights that come to 200 a piece that include all the taxes. We have had great luck with airtran before. I will be happy with even paying 1000 for us four I guess but fares are still way higher than that right now. I know it's early but I too am frustrated!

I've booked this far in advance before so I don't know what the big difference is.
