I just wanted to say that I booked accomodation through DIS Uk for next august and paid £200 for 4 of us.
I then managed to get a great price for a package and booked that. When I called up to cancel with disney, I was told that I couldn't get a refund, I could amend it to another date for £25. I really wanted a refund but didn't want to lose £175 so am staying a night in a deluxe.
Last year I booked through Disney US site and got a full refund when I changed my plans.

We are looking at next August as well - 6 of us, all classed a Adults by Disney! - can I ask please: Is that £25 per person to change the date or £25 total for the booking? We are not sure what exact date we can go next year yet so wouls like some flexibility and I don't mind paying £25 to change it if needed. We are aiming to do 10 days at Coronado Springs (stayed there before and thought it was great) and then 4 nights at RPR.

I will gladly help everyone looking for flights next August, once I have booked mine.

Whenever they are available I will be posting the offers.

Lorraine, I always like to book my flights 1st but as you say its only £150.

Saying that I am waiting until I have been this August before I book next year, If we like OKW and DDP hopefully get some reasonable flights and book again for next year. If the offer ends I will stay offsite, I don't mind.

I'll hold you to that Wayne!

I couldn't wait to book the free dining offer at OKW for next year, so jumped in, am a bit nervous about not having flights first, but it'll mean that I can be flexible, and maybe sneak a couple of nights at Universal! Am considering an indirect flight if the directs are crazy, but it's not like I don't have enough time to save up!

Starwarsclark- the £25 amendment is per booking and I think they waive it for a more expensive holiday, but if you cancel, you lose the whole deposit.

Thank you Ruthie - £25 per booking is not too bad I suppose, could always try to negotiate it away, especially as we will need to book 2 rooms.

Hi Guys

I have my credit card in hand.... and I dont know whether I'm doing the right thing!

I am planning on taking my two teenagers (16 & 14) next Summer to celebrate my DS16 finishing his GCSE's...

I am planning on 11 nights in I-Drive doing US/IOA/SW/BG/Aquatica then 9 nights in WDW to take advantage of the free dining. It is cheaper for us to stay in OKW with Free Dining than to stay in POP (which we loved!) and pay for all our meals!

I have looked at VH which is coming up ridiculously expensive... and the 3 of us are very happy to fly indirect to save money but we've only flown direct before (with VH and TCD).

I just want to book OKW now... to make sure we dont lose out on the offers... but I know I cant book flights until Sept - and I am budgeting only £400 each for the flights...

So.. what should I do? Am I going to get flights for £400 - I have followed prices this year and some indirects were coming in at £339 which gives me hope...!!

Deposit for WDW is only £150....

Please tell me to do it!!!!

We've booked five nights in OKW from August 2nd even though no flights sorted yet. We're hoping to fly via New York and have four nights there before Orlando, and then a week in a condo or villa after OKW.

I have booked 9 nights from 1st Aug (see you there WiganTony!!)

In September I shall be following Wayne very closely to get good cheap flights! I will be looking for 22nd July - 10th Aug for flights. Once flights booked I will find a good budget I-Drive base for the first 11 nights..!!

Sooooo much planning to do now!

As I will be staying on WDW property for the 2nd part of my trip, can I book ME for the return leg? And is this worth it? A lot of people are saying pick up is too early.........

dont you get all excited when booking - booked the yacht club for the 12th august next year for 2 weeks (with-out flights yet) - but now I'm thinking of doing a couple of nights in another resort or even a couple of days in new york first or last depending on flights, cant wait
