Auburn Football Games Seating - Help!

Would front row tickets on the 35/40 yard line be good or bad seats in a typical college football stadium (Auburn, specifically). Trying to find DH tickets for the LSU game as a Father's Day present but the prices are INSANE. The cheapest tickets I find are front row - is this too close to the field to be worth it??

Any ideas on where to find cheap tickets?

Cheap tickets? Not at Auburn. As with the rest of the SEC, available open-purchase seating is very scarce.

Front row isn't the greatest view of the game itself, but you can see the plays on the Jumbotron. The sidelines of a big college game have a lot going on, and that is still pretty cool if you're a fan of the team(s). I'd be thrilled to get them if the alternative was watching on TV.

Thanks. DH went to grad school at LSU and never got to go to a game when he was a student there. We are moving close to Auburn and he would LOVE to go see LSU play.

I'll keep looking and see if I can find something a little higher up with a better view.

I would go for further up on the same yard line area. As the previous poster mentioned SEC tickets are expensive unless you know someone that has season tickets.

DH would go anywhere to see LSU play but we are moving close to Auburn so that is definitely going to be the closest.

If you know of cheaper seats for an Alabama-LSU game then I'm all ears.
