Is there a time of year when attractions are more likely to be closed for rehab?

I would think that low attendance times of year would be the most likely time for a ride to be refurbished but do you think that if that time is really close to a high attendance time (like the week before the week of Thanksgiving or the first three weeks of December) that it is less likely rides will be in rehab?

Has anyone noticed any patterns?

The greatest chances you have of hitting an abundance of refurbishment are September and January. Those are historically the lowest periods of attendance. When I went in September of 2002, there was refurbishment EVERYWHERE!!!! :)

But there really is so much to do that you won't miss anything.

ITA with Dan.

December may be low attendance, but it doesn't give them much time to rehab an attraction in that narrow Thanksgiving-to-Christmas corridor. Obviosly they want to be running at full strength for both of those holiday periods.

Check out this link for a good list of rehabs currently on the radar. Notice all of the Sept/Oct and Jan/Feb dates:
