We are going to be spending a day in MGM, and we already have PS for dinner with the Fantasmic Dinner package for Hollywood & Vine. What are some things we can do there that would not be too much for our 18month old son?? Two things on our must do is the Playhouse Disney show, and the Toy Story Pizza Palace (he loves this movie already!!). Also what are some good tips for characters?? Are there any playgrounds at MGM???

Honey I shrunk the Kids play ground is in MGM.
Al's toy barn for characters(check times)
Have fun!

Go to the Disney web site. Type MAPS in the search box and then you can print a MGM, or any park, and it will show all attractions and shows.

Although he will be too young to know the Little Mermaid story, he will probably enjoy the the show. It is colorful and full of movement. I do caution you, though, that Ursula does come out and she is big. When my daughter was 20 months, it didn't bother her one bit. I just covered her ears, and occupied her a little better at that time in the show.

You might want to check out Pizza Planet yourself before you bother taking your son inside. I walked through it once myself and didn't see anything but arcade games--all too big for an 18 month old.

I didn't even think the restaurant theming was anything to write home about.

Al's Toy Barn is right around the corner. You'll make out much better there.
