Attn: POP fridge swaps a thing of past? Put in this week

I had a note left in the room to leave the armoire clean out as by Friday there will be a fridge place in the room for guest accomadation. So There are two in here now, the handicap room they brought up for me, and the new one from today.
The new one does not have a freezer compartment, but works great. I must have 40 fruit pouches, water, some soda and dietary food, small bag of meds.

So what is going to happen to all the fridges in Luggage?

So what is going to happen to all the fridges in Luggage?

My guess either get put in the dumpster or find new homes with cast members. I am sure there is a time limit on things that are left in luggage and then become considered abandoned... Unless someone from a swap wants to go down and personally claim one, before it sits too long.

I have used a fridge swap on all but 2 of my WDW trips - 1 because my Mom had a medical need for the fridge, the 2nd because our swap fridge was lost.

While the swaps have been so helpful budget-wise all I can say is "It's about time! Thank you, Disney!" I am not going to miss lugging appliances around on my vacation!

eta - the fridge just came up "missing" from the swap I am currently in for our two trips this year. Hmmmmm......
