Attention Maclaren Triumph owners!

I was wondering if anyone knows if the sunshade/hood is machine washable? If so, how do you remove it?

Also...has anyone had an airline let them put this stroller in the overhead bin instead of gate checking it?

No and no. You can spot-clean the hood by hand. I've always had to gate-check strollers vs. putting overhead, though once I saw a flight attendant help someone store one in the closet at the front of that plane, but it's been years since that happened.

I was nervous about the gate check idea when we went in November. It was the first time I had done it. It was very easy & convenient on both Southwest & Air Tran. I did get one of those bright red gate check bags for strollers from BRUS. We probably could have put 2 Triumphs in our gate check bag
