Attention Everyone - New Server

We are very pleased to announce that a second server for DisBoards will be coming on line today. It is up and running and the switchover will begin at 12 noon E.S.T. today. The way the internet works is that the changes will spread gradually so it may be up to 24-48 hours untill the switchover actually hits you. The one issue that you may notice when you are switched is that you will have to log in again with your username and password so if you don't have it you may want to change your password in your user profile now so that you know what it is. Go to the user cp at the top of any page and select "edit password".
We are very hopeful that this will take care of the infamous "Server too busy" problem!

I think I speak for most of the folks on this board in saying... thank you for making the investment to keep up with the growing popularity of the DIS. I hope you're getting a reasonable ROI... I'd like to see you around for a long time to come!

Will there be any changes to the look of the page? The Flash images cause me trouble since I do not (and cannot download b/c I don't have admin. privileges on this PC) have Flash. I often have to click 5 boxes just to see whatever topic I choose.
