Attention DCWV lovers!!!

So I was in M's this weekend just checking out what they had and what do I stumble across but a new stack and all the embellishments to go with it. I am talking stickers, rubons, chipboard, vellum, letters. The works. And they had both boy and girl embellies separately.

Anyway, the new stack is Safari Kids. It is the cutest thing I have seen in a while. Perfect for those animal kingdom and zoo layouts. It blows Animal Crackers away. I will try and take a picture and post later. This stack is so new I can't even find a picture of it anywhere.

I saw it a few weeks ago and tried to ignore it (but still ended up with some stamps)...Since then, it's seriously been calling my name, I see a trip to Mike's in my not so distant future! It is soooo cute!

Also, if you are on the fence about this stack, I was told that this is a seasonal item only and most stores would not restock once they have sold out.

I LOVE IT!!! I use my coupons all the time to buy bits and pieces to the set.
I needed the blue stuff for my son,...but then on our last trip to the zoo, I made sure I took LOTS of pics of my DD so I had an excuse to go back and buy the pink stuff!
I did not like Animal Crackers at all...so this set made up for that!
I'm almost done "collecting" it all...lol

Jennifer - did you go to the Natick Michael's? I was there a couple weeks back and of course had to buy a few things.. I am a complete sucker for the DCWV stacks - I know that Joanns has the summer stack on sale this week - maybe I'll get there tomorrow..

Yes, it was in Natick. They pretty much had the whole she-bang...I got most (if not all) of the girl stuff.

I'm going to Jo-ann's tomorrow! I bought summer stacks, but I ended up with two of one 12x12 and two of one mat stack. Next time I need to make a list

Ok, so get this! Yesterday, I called M's to ask if they had it, and like I posted, the girl said (after she went and checked), "We don't have it, and we don't carry it". Ok.

Last night, we decided on the spur of the moment to meet my parents for dinner at a restaurant near there. I asked DH if we could swing by there after we left. So we did, and I went in just to look at other stuff. They had a WHOLE SECTION of it. It was one of those 4-sided stands (does that make sense?) with a different themed stack/set/embellishments on each one. Yep! Safari Kids was right there!! I guess the girl just wasn't sure what I was talking about when I called. So, I got the paper pack, the vellum titles, and the little title that says "hear me roar". I didn't have my coupon with me, but I thought, "Well, that's ok. I'll just get it while they have it." When I got up there to pay, the cashier (without me saying anything except "hi") took 30% off the paper (it was on sale) and then 40% off the other two items. I don't know if they were on sale (there wasn't a flyer), but it was a nice surprise!!
