OK, to make a long story short, my parents will now be at the World with some friends of theirs the same time we are down in December. They want to come over to the CR to watch the fireworks with us one night.

My question is, if we are not lucky enough to get a MK view in the Tower, where is the best place to watch the fireworks where we can hear the music too (they are planning on coming over a night that they are having a MVMCP)?

On the 4th Floor of the Tower there is an observation deck where anybody can watch the fireworks. They have music too. If you are in an MK view room, you can turn on the resort channel that tells the bedtimes story. It also plays the Wishes music.

I had no idea we could hear the music on the bedtime story channel!! We just did our best to hear what we could coming over from the MK. DUH on our part! LOL That's good to know for the next time.

We did see the observation tower when we were there in September. It's on the 4th floor (Concourse) at the opposite end of the floor from Chef Mickey's. Just go out the doors and to the left and you'll see benches that you can sit down on to watch the fireworks. We didn't actually watch them from there though, we saw them from our balcony every night.

Am I nuts to want to go back there just for that view? Part of me wants to stay in WL on our next trip, but another part of me wants to sit out every night and watch those fireworks again. It was so worth the extra money.

FYI - When we were out on that observation deck in early March, there was no sound - we only saw the fireworks. I didn't see if there were speakers out there.
