Trying to find anyone traveling the same time as us! It will be myself, DD, and DS(almost 6 by cruise) cruising! I can't wait:cool1:

I'm a single dad travelling with my son (turns 10 a week before the cruise) during his spring week. This will be a first time cruise for both of us. I'm sure it will be exciting and we can't wait.:woohoo:

Thanks for the reply. Good to know that we have some experienced travelling companions. Could you please provide some tips and suggestions to us first timers to ensure a smooth(and fun filled) sailing?

If it is that good, I'm sure, we will turn into cruise addicts too.:goodvibes
You are right about the waiting, My son has been talking about it with everyone he knows. He keeps saying that it will be the most exciting spring break of his life.:yay:

Hi - we're booked too - so excited can't wait!!!! I have 2 sons' 10 & 12, I was excited since they can be in the same kid's room.

We did Land & Sea (3 days on the ship) several years ago & have been wanting to come back since we had that little taste of cruising. They had a good time then, but I'm sure so much has changed since then - we can't wait!

Hello! We're on this cruise too. It will be 4 of us myself, DH, DD (15), and DS (almost 12). I think this will be our 9th Disney cruise, so we definitely have a bit of an addiction. If I can answer any questions, I'd be happy to do so. I've learned a lot from these boards from some very helpful cruisers.

I was so excited to come online and see we have new friends! I had been coming on periodiocally but there were no more responses so I haven't been on in a while:goodvibes I would love to answer any questions that any one has as well. I too learned soooo much from this site and other members info. Look forward to talking more to all of you through these long months of waiting!!!! :rolleyes1

Hi! This would be our second cruise on DCL. We just returned from the 7-night Mexican Riviera (July 6th to July 13th). It was the best vacation that we all had. So, we booked this one for spring vacation. On this trip, there will be my DH, DD9, DD6, and myself. Does anyone know if they can tell me where the best place to stay? We are planning to fly in two days before the actual trip, because I want to be able to relax and shop before the cruise begins. Can anyone recommend what type of clothing to bring? I can't believe that I am planning already, but it was such a memorable experience that I know this cruise will be, too. By the way, our family is from Northern California.:)

We've stayed at the Radisson at Port Canaveral a couple of times and last time at the Country Inn and Suites. Both are in a great location, not luxurious, but nice. The Radisson has free shuttle to the port and the Country Inn charged $6 round trip (if I remember correctly). Not a lot of shopping in the Port Canaveral area, so you might want to think about staying in Orlando a night or 2 too if you're really interested in shopping. We live in Tampa and like to get as close to the ship as possible the daybefore and really start to relax and avoid any traffic the day of embarkation. We were on the same itinerary last April and the weather was beautiful! Nice and warm, but not hot.

We are from Tampa too! Where about Sunshine? We haven't stayed by the port. We make the 2 hour drive the day of:confused3 We have also taken all our other cruises in April and the weather has been amazing. I would dress for warm weather. I do bring a sweater or jacket just because I get cold easily and sometimes I like to have it for the shows. April is a perfect time to cruise. We haven't had anything but clear skies and beautiful weather. I can't wait:cool1:

Hey all!

Just a quick hello. My wife and I will be joining you all for this cruise.

This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise. Our first was over the summer. We did the Panama Canal EB Repo and fell hard in love with the Disney Cruise line. We booked a short 3 night cruise on The Wonder in November over the NJ teachers covention. It was too short and decided to book spring break while on board. We cannot get enough of the Disney Cruiseline. It is leaps and bounds better than anything we have ever done. So much so we are willing to drive 1,200 miles to get to Florida!

This will be the first time without any family. Just me and the wife. Not your typical vacation choice for a young couple of 29 and 26, but Disney just does it right for kids, family, and adults.

This will be our second Disney cruise. We sailed Jan 08, and booked this before we got off the boat. My then 5 year old son cried when we said we would be leaving the boat the next day, he wanted to "stay on the boat forever" (and this was after 4 days at WDW).
I think we may have some issues getting my son off the ship for excursions, except at Castaway. I have not yet convinced him that all islands are not Nassau, which he was not impressed with.

This will be #5 for us! We Cant wait until April. We have had a wonderful time on each and every cruise we have gone on! SEE YA REAL SOON!

I saw on my scary Visa bill that the cruise is now paid for so I better get serious about the cruise. Do any of you ever do fish extenders?

Tonight at midnight CC members can book Palo and shore excursions! Just an FYI.

Only 90 days out!

Just booked!
It will be myself, DW, DS (15), DS (13) & DD (11). Our 2nd 7 day but 7th DCL for DW and I and 5th for the kids.

Don't forget to check with your TA if you're a Florida resident - they just released the rates for this cruise and we booked for about 1/3 what it would have cost!

Driving up from Ft Myers on Friday. Have stayed at the Radison before but haven't decided yet for this trip.

We are looking at booking now that the FL resident rates have been released. There are several groups within our party. We are probably gonna wait two more weeks to make our decision.

When we booked, we got the last 2 side-by-side Cat 9 rooms and they were showing all of the Cat 4 rooms gone already so don't wait too long!

Anyone else coming up from SW Florida? We're considering renting a limo/limo bus for the trip up & back. Parking is $15 a day so that's $105, a hotel will run (5 of us) about $200, plus gas & wear on the car & the tension of driving just may make it worthwhile . . .
