It is a lot more affordable for us to go this time of year. We took our first DC in June 2001 (3 days) and it costed us approximately $500 more than this one and this one is for four days.

I remember booking this cruise, one full year out. It seems impossible that it is only 2 months away now! Sweet.

Well, we booked the Dolphin Encounter this morning. $100 per person plus $100 for pictures plus $50 for a video. By the end of the encounter, that dolphin had better stand on his head and bark like a dog...literally.

Beano, how much did you pay for airfare into MCO? Do you fly out of LA? I want to see if we paid a fair price.

Another question. Where is the outlet to plug in my hairdryer? Next to the cooler full of drinks and some clothes, I have to have a working hairdryer. How much extension cord do I need in order to see a mirror? I read that you can't plug the hairdryer into the outlet in the bathroom? Is this true?

I had that same question Rose. Afte having lame hair on 2 consecutive cruises I was planning on bringing my own dryer this time. Don't tell me it won't fit in the outlet? Is there a special converter I can buy?

My DW plugged her dryer (and flat iron) in the outlet by the counter, where the mirror is (to the right of the TV, cat. 5 stateroom). It's true you can't plug them in in the bathroom, as they have built-in dryers already installed... but they suck.
An extension cord certainly isn't a bad idea either!

We are not flying out of LAX this year, so I am sure our airfare isn't comparable to yours. It was roughly... if I remember correctly... 3 million dollars?

We are flying into Dallas, then to MCO (Amercain Airlines).


Maureen, I may be talked into buying a round of sailaway drinks... or two, if'n you're nice!
