DH got his notice today he is temporarily excused from jury duty. Wasn't that fast? I only mailed the notice in on Monday.

No Doc's yet. HMMM! I am begining to "Wonder" if we are going afterall. Didn't some people get their's like 2 weeks ago?

Good news about jury duty. I thought it might work out that way!

We ain't got no stinkin' docs yet either, but it's still early by our standards... Next week, I bet.

Hate to say it, but all discussions here point to us not going to Atlantis... we don't want to miss tropical night in the dining room, and Renee wants to be able to shop the straw market. There just aren't enough hours in the day! We would still like the kids to be able to spend whatever time possible together that day... lots of 'free' time on board ship, if you guys will be back!

Too bad about you guys not going to Atlantis. We will be back well before dinner. Most likely we will leave first thing in the Morning. Who knows maybe we will be back before lunch if it is to hot. LOL. Realistically, I expect us back early afternoon. I can only take so much direct sunlight.

I guess I should look at some of the navigator's posted on web sites so I could be informed of each days activites. I wasn't going to pack my tropical dress but maybe I will now.

I think I may start packing this weekend. I already dug up the birth certificates.

Rose, I think you forgot to mention that you already got your doc's.

Hey your guys, guess what? The Fed Ex man came to my house today. I thought he was gonna give me my docs but then I remembered, I ALREADY HAVE MY DOCS. I have had my docs for a week . YOu know what? I was one of the first people to get my docs. Docs, Docs , Docs. I am finding it hard to be humble when I have my docs.

Lynne, I hate to say this but I am the whiner of the family, not hubby! So, it will be me and kids whining on the plane.

You know, there are those of us who are secure enough that we don't have to continually spout off about having our docs. Unfortuantely, I am not one of them.

Okay Beano, I know that I have not been....well...... very nice to you. I know that I have teased you and sarcastically taunted you. I know that I have shamelessly made fun of you and made you look like a fool. But Beano, I hope you get your docs this week. I really do. Because without your docs, I won't be able to tease and torment you in person and I am so looking forward to doing that for my cheap entertainment.

I will call the UPS man in the morning....Yes I have connections......and demand that Beano's docs be delivered this week.

Four weeks from today, I will be encountering dolphins.

I have a question for you Beano. I have read that you video tape a lot of your cruise. I don't like the cameras because they make me look 10, 20 even 30 pounds heavier than I really am (yeah right, its the camera). Do you have a "slimming" lens that you can use when videotaping me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Should I get my suitcases out or wait another week? I think I am bringing way too much stuff. Does anyone have any advice on how to pack just what you need? Besides essentials (toiletries, hair dryer, swimsuits) what is the one thing that I might not think of packing but shouldn't forget? (BEano, don't say beer...I already have that packed).

Hey everyone! I am here!! Still no docs...but I am so ready to cruise!!

As for packing...I say to minimize how much unnecessary things you bring...PLAN!!!
I plan out what we are gonna wear each night and try to stick to it....
The over the door shoe holder is a lifesaver for us! We put all our toiletries and little things in it (jewelry, sunglasses, contact solution, razors, etc)

Rose - to say I videotape alot would be an understatement. I shot 13 hours of footage last year. Sorry, can't really help you with the slimming lens bit, but I'll tell you what I am gonna do for you: Whenever you order a rich dessert, or a sailaway drink, etc., I will have it for you. It's the least I can do.

Beano is going to have more tape to work with this year. I will have my camera running and so will Paul. We should have at least 25 hours of tape!!!

Maybe just 4.

You need to promise me you'll do a few new dance steps, so the video won't be the same as last year. I'll try to do things differently myself too... maybe I will drink my beer from the other hand or something.

Or you could just sit in front of a mirror and drink, Beano. It'll look like you're using your other hand, but it will be much easier to manage both the camera and the beer at the same time. Just a thought.

Hey, now THAT'S an idea!!!

It's difficult, though, to get a camera angle in the mirror without letting the camera show up in the shot. I guess I'll just have to practice, practice practice!

Actually, I have tried this before, and strangely, the more I drink in front of a mirror, the fuzzier the image gets. Maybe the steam in the bathroom fogs the lens.
