Since we're planning to be in the MK this Thursday, I was thinking of bringing the DGDs to the mixer, because they like to dance with characters. Is anyone else planning to attend it?

We went on 12/16 and found it to be worthwhile. Best to get there about 2:30pm and get in line. Whether you wait before they open or after, you'll still have to wait. We were able to quickly get our pictures with Mickey & Minnie and then review the merchandise available without too much of a hassle.

On a side note, has anyone else who's gone been able to pull up the pictures? We keep trying and it keeps telling us "invalid event name" on the site. Just wondering if that's because they pics aren't actually there yet (for 12/16) or if we're doing something wrong.

we were there on the 23rd. Got there about 2:30. While waiting in line, we met Ariel Cee. She spoke to us for about 5 minutes. Our 2 DS's thought she was cute- LOL! Got our deserts, some punch, bought the MMM pins, got some pics, and then left. We were there for about 15 minutes. Some people that were in line behind, really needed to teach there kids manners. As we were walking in, they stormed in front of us, almost knocked me over and pushed my kids out of the way to get in, so they could get in line at the pin trading station. Got another ornament as we left. Would we do it again, probably not, but that's our opinion.

My family will be there. Planning on horseback riding at Triple D that morning. Should be a nice day - high in the 70's.

Gee, we were there on the 23rd.. We didn't see any ornaments... bummer! We thought it was kind of a bust. good punch, 2 free rice cripsy snowmen. But if you wern't there for the pins, or merchandise or a picture with characters, or a dance with kids and Pluto, that was it.

We did not get any points charts either. Thought they were handing those out too? We were there early too and found that there were many, many rude visitors, children and adults. It was a big event, but some were taking more than their share.:confused3 sending kids up to get more crispy treats, etc. I am not sure I'll make a real effort next year. :hippie:

The ornament is worth it. Don't leave without it. The dances are fun, but I need more than punch to line dance!:)

It's nice they do something considering the size of the membership. I won't complain, but if yo are really enjoying something else that day I would not stop to attend the MMM.

I was there on the 16th with my husband, daughter, granddaughter and grandson. Dee Vee Cee was there with her daughter. They were really funny. We danced for two hours and had a lot of fun. The DJ was very good. I've seen him at other events and he's always good. The ornament was very nice this year!
