Attending Crops

I never thought I'd go to a crop by myself, but I managed to make myself get out there and go and I loved it. I go by myself all the time now. I find that I get a lot more done in a group setting than at home alone even though I have my own crop room. I do miss my Cricut though.

I love the socializing with friends but, sometimes I just want a place to go and crop. I woudn't hesitate to go by myself. If the crop is too crowded, I probably wouldn't go back. But I know from experience, most croppers are family girls and friendly soon, they'll be friends.

I was the first in my group to start scrapping so I went to several crops alone. Most of the time they were lots of fun anyway, Most of the scrappers I run across are very friendly.

I finally sucked in some of my friends so now we just crop at someones house. We occasionally go to a crop but not to much anymore.

Do you take classes at TCR? I LOVE Sandy Goldman's Simple & Stylish classes and will be taking on on 2/26.

Okay, it's a really, really small world. I live in Buckingham too! I haven't done any classes altho my girlfriend wants me to do the layout of the month but I'm going to wait until the weather breaks and CCD is done.

You should try and catch one of the Simple and Stylish classes. Her l/o's are great and her classes are reasonably priced. I am taking one on 2/26 at 7pm. She is doing two one page layouts (one a v-day themed one general) and one 2 pg l/o that is winter themed.

Phew! I was beginning to think maybe you were my neighbor in disguise! I'm in Hearthstone (413/Cold Spring). Actually, I got the moving bug when they were building BF but fell in love with HS and it was closer to my MIL.

I'll have to check the calendar of events and start planning down the road. During the week is hard because I don't get home from work until 6:00. Even if my MIL watched my kids, I'd be running to get there on time. I just have to go on a day my DH has off. I could probably go right from work (Philly) rather than home and then out to Hatfield.

Right now I've got to plan DD's First Holy Communion party and get some things done around here. Come June I'll be ready to take some time for me. Altho I have been thinking of doing a crop on my own. Maybe that will get me motivated.
