i can put an image at the top but what i was trying to do is put an image BEHIND the numbers, kwim?
Can anyone guide me as to what i am supposed to be doing?

It has been a LOOONG time since I have used Word Perfect....but if it is similar to Word. Click on the image that you want to go behind you words and look for a picture toolbar to pop up. In Word, in the picture toolbar, there is an image of a dog with lines behind it that is called "text wrapping". Move your mouse over the different images and see if one is text wrapping or try to look in "help" to find text wrapping. Once you find it, click on the "text wrapping" button and then in the drop down menu click on "behind text". Then if it is the same in WordPerfect as in Word...the image will move behind the letter.

If this doesn't work...try using the "help" button in Word Perfect" and search for "text wrapping" or "move pictures" or "move images" or "move text".

Helpfull hint...make sure the image is where you want it before you move it behind the words. It can be hard to get it to move around once you move it behind something.
