Attack of the Self-Flushing Toilets!

Thanks for the tip about the post-it notes. That would be better than the other tip I read about using stickers. My daughter was well on her way to being potty trained last year until we went to WDW and the automatic toilets scared her! Now we are trying to potty train again and I will definitely use the post-it note idea.

I have a video of my cousin at the Garden Grille. (she must have been about 4) Instead of her freaking out by the toilets, you see her on the video
" The toilet flushed when mommy was pulling up her pants!"
She thought that the toilets were the funniest things!

That is a great way to solve the problem. My DD was also frightened of them when she was younger.

Like an earlier poster, I am embarrassed I did not think to do any of these ideas. I just made her sit really still and crossed my fingers! LOL

Hi and thanks for the great tip!! I am leaving in a week and I just put the post-it notes in my bag with the flushable bum wipes!! My DS was tramatized last May at WDW. He came out of the bathroom the first day with his Dad exclaiming that "even the potties have Disney Magic!" Then he refused to use them.
We left the kids at the Cub's Den at the Wilderness Lodge one evening and he had a very bad time. His older sister explained to us that he got scared of the potty and came running out of the bathroom with his pants around his ankles and fell in the main room in front of all the big kids. He was crushed at the time but could laugh later....days later...when we were driving home! Poor babe!
