Oh I was!! It was so funny!! Of course, he said a couple of things I can't post on here!!
I was told they weren't all like that, but its funny because the 2 that we have had were!

i think all of there king size bed rooms have handicap bathrooms, that is what they told us anyway.

Thats good to know! I wish they would have told me because I made a note of it in our reservations to NOT get one of those bathrooms!

on arriving nice and early to Disney! The dreaded handicap bathroom , at least you were able to switch rooms. So are the inlaws still right next door ? How did you like ASMo? I think my kids would think it's a fun place just from seeing the pics. Waiting for more . Photobucket is a darn PITA.

I know, I was so glad to get a tub!!!! I of course, I always spray it down with lysol first, but still!
Actually....they ended up 7 rooms from us!
We love ASMo! It is really cool!! We stayed there on our honeymoon and then we stayed there with Hollie last year. We just love it!!

Okay, now where was I.......OH YEAH!! We were in Disney!!! Hip Hip Hooray!!!!

So, we finally got the room situation situated! I was feeling a little tired by this point....and hungry. So, Chad went down to re-fill up our mugs that I bought after I checked in. He also brought back a kids chicken nuggets tray. So, I ate a nugget and then laid down on the bed and crashed!!!
I couldn't sleep too good, I kept waking up ever so often and would look at the clock. Around 1:45 pm, I get up and take a bath.

Now, a little background on me! I love baths...LOVE THEM! I could take about 5 a day if I could! So, the first thing I do once I took my cat nap.....you got it, a bath!!

Okay, now back to the story......I took another bath and re-did my makeup. We decided we were going to go to DTD to look around the stores and then go straight to the Poly. But, alas, there was a slight problemo.......we called his parents room and were informed that Jim (step-dad) got a call from work and needed to get some things done. He is a project manager at an electrical company. Everytime we have been on a vacation with this man, he gets called all the time from work! I am so glad I don't have a job like that. He told us to go on and go to DTD while he worked. Then once we were done, to call him and he would meet us at their car so we could go to the Poly. It was sprinkling off and on and I just kept praying it would clear up!

So, I took a couple of pics before we left! Notice the tank top....you will be seeing it a lot since I packed for dead winter! Thank goodness for the laundry mat at the hotel!

So, we get to DTD and looked around a bit. of course, I left my camera in the car. WE did go to Goofy's Candy Company and Chad made a rice crispy treat and I had the cookie!

Chad loved his rice crispy treat and I loved my cookie!!!

We get back to the car and call Jim. He said he wasn't done but would still meet as at their car. We get back and load up and guess what....................

It started raining!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so upset! All I could think of was that they were going to cancel the luau!

So, we pull up to the Poly and it is raining really bad!!! Jim drops off us all off so he can go park the car. It is 5:15 by this point. We waited for Jim to come inside and once he did.....I made my way to the tambu lounge!!! Hooray!!! I was ready for my lapu lapu!!!

The in-laws made a pitstop in the gift shop to find a hoodie jacket for Elaine (MIL). She tends to get cold all the time!!!!

So, Chad and I head upstairs! It was like the angels were singing.........

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I saw it!!! The Tambu Lounge!!!! I walked over and sat down at one of the round tables there. Chad saw a sushi bar and headed over that way to check it out. While he was gone, the waitress came up. I ordered it.......oh yeah, you know what I ordered.......my lapu lapu!!!!
Chad came over at that time. He ordered the backscratcher.

Isn't she a dish......and I am not talking about me!! I am talking about that beautiful, sweet pineapple in my hand!! Wanna see something funny?? Look at the lady on the tv...looks like she is trying to be a ninja and get my drink...GET YOUR OWN LADY!!!

Oh, it was so good!!! During this time, Chad went over to the sushi bar again, but this time came back with some shrimp tempura.

By this time, the in-laws came up to the lounge. Jim got a long island iced tea and Elaine got some martini. I don't know what it was, but it was nastaaaay!!!!! Blech!!! It had a very bitter taste. The woman does not like fruity drinks (I dont know why.. ) but that leaves more for me!

Here is the 2nd drink I tried....its a Tropical Macaw..and in case your wondering, they changed the name from a malibu macaw

After we were finished with the drinks...we went downstairs to check in. With the rain, they made us stay inside till they led us out. Chad and I looked around at the pool and I took a few pics of the castle...

We came back inside and no one was there!! I looked to the left and there was the line to go to the luau. I ran as fast as you can in flip flops and caught up with the in-laws. I noticed the MIL was acting a little, um, funny!
Her martinis started to kick in and with this pic, you can very much tell!!

dessert....eh, I am texture person and it was almost like a softer, squishy like jelloy thing.

Oh, and uh, here is the fire dancer! He was awesome!!

I didn't care for that volcano dessert either. Don't hate me...I mean this in the sweetest way possible ~ I now know how Hollie will look when she becomes and older lady. My goodness....Chad looks so much like his mama and well, Hollie is Chads twin so she will have Granny's face one day. Even if she's a meanie sometime she is a pretty woman so this is totally a compliment to little Hollie. All three of them have the same eyes and big smile.

Now onto the drink. That thing looks delish! How much is it? I'm on a tight budget in December but man oh man that looks good! I LOVE me some pineapple and liquor too....win WIN! What is in it? And yes the TV chick looks like she's about to grab it from you.

on them being 7 rooms away. I'm sure you love your inlaws but still too much togetherness is sometimes not a good thing. Hey even I didn't want to stay at the same resort as my brother and his kids last year. Glad to hear ASMo is fun. I might have to keep it in mind for a quick trip for Thomas's Bday this year or next. What is up with photobucket! my pictures are not even in order and I'm having to scroll through 600 pictures to find the right ones for each update .

lapu lapus rule!!!!!!!!! i can't wait to get mine in 21 days!

i'm a texture-based eater too, so i probably wouldn't like that dessert. i don't eat beans because they feel like mushy, wet sand in my mouth. everyone thinks i'm crazy but textures just make or break it for me.
