Attack of the 5 pound lapu lapu.....I LOVE IT!!!!! Updated 1/20 Photopass pics

I am just loving your TR! It is fabulous! You are so funny and as you are describing your trip, it makes me feel like I am right back at WDW. Thanks for sharing, and I can't wait for more! :goodvibes

Girl, I'm glad you had some drinks for me while you were at Epcot! :thumbsup2I don't drink at all, so I appreciate you concern and thoughfulness for me. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That blue martini thingy looked interesting though.
And I will concurr with other posters... PAJAMA PANTS????? Didn't they have any capris anywhere??? That is hilarious! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Your menu turned out really great! I know Chad liked it and was very appreciative. ;)
Can't wait to see your next update and your Christmas pictures. I need to go do that.

OMG i hate cliffhangers i cant wait that long for one tree hill!
Don't tell me!!!!:lmao:

The menus and diver are just so cool!

I am so impressed at the number of drinks you were able to consume at Epcot -- I would have been under the table at Coral Reef. :rotfl:

Thanks!!! I was so happy with them!!!

LOL!!! I think its because I took my time drinking them. Although, I did chug-a-lug that grey goose slush!!:rotfl2:

Great update and congrats on the 5K!!!

Those menus and the sign are so cute!! How did you get the menus made?

I love the picture of your blue glowing face!! LOL!! Looked like another glowing pic!

Thanks!! I am hoping next year I make a decent time! I think I did pretty good considering I HATE TO RUN!! lol!!

I had to call and speak to the manager at the Coral Reef and she set it up for me! I was very happy with them!

AWW! That was great!!!

We ate at CR for the first time in Sept and were pleasantly surprised. It was better than we had expected and will be going back next month!

I am really wanting to take Hollie there in February and get her a menu made and also maybe a diver!

First off, pyjama pants??? :jester: :rainbow: I think thats so funny. :) Did she know they were pyjamas? :rotfl2: I can imagine you giggling at her.

Coral Reef was a nice restaurant, I enjoyed it too. Your menus turned out great! A lovely souvenier of your trip. I bet Chad felt so special when he saw the diver. You got major points for that one...;) :love2: ;)

Blue Glowtini how beautiful (my favorite color is blue). :woohoo:

I noticed they changed the Tink cup, last year it was half Captain Hook half Tinkerbell. Yours looks like the Fairies?

I havn't seen the OTH either, I will watch it tonight on my DVR.

Have a great day! I have to go out and shovel snow, in order to get my car out of the driveway.......

Yes! I thought that was the dumbest thing!! I mean, I saw a really cute mom and daughter wearing those really cute Mickey christmas pajamas at the MVMCP, but during the day!! COME ON!! I was laughing my bootay off at her!
Chad was so excited when he saw them! I was really glad to have done that for him!
We got Hollie the tink drink last year and I remember it had Hook and Tink on it. They are giving the Tink glow with the fairies cup, but they still have the Hook one! Only he is on the cup from last time.

I still haven't watched the whole OTH. I am about to catch up with it!
Awww man!! Snow!!! I wish it was down here. Can you bottle some up and send it to me????:rotfl2:

I love the spaceship earth pictures. That will be fun to do in Dec. on our trip.
It was closed down on our last trip. I am looking forward to seeing it new.
Chad still looks good, but not as good as in the hat!:cutie:

Thanks! It was really cool how they take your pic on spaceship earth now! You will have to do a funny picture!!
I told him that your a fan of the hat! He said he is going to buy it when we go in Feb! :lmao:

hey girl I'm up to date with your report now .. Its so good can't wait to read more girl....
Hey girly!! I am glad your caught up now!!:goodvibes

I am just loving your TR! It is fabulous! You are so funny and as you are describing your trip, it makes me feel like I am right back at WDW. Thanks for sharing, and I can't wait for more!
Thank you and :welcome: Glad your here!!

Aww, that is really sweet of you! I hope I can keep you entertained!

Girl, I'm glad you had some drinks for me while you were at Epcot! :thumbsup2I don't drink at all, so I appreciate you concern and thoughfulness for me. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That blue martini thingy looked interesting though.

LOL!!!!! I drank half and had the other half for you!! :rotfl2:

YES!!!! I would have rather kept my pants on and sweated like a egg on hot cement than wear pajama pants!! i live in pj pants at home, but good grief not at Disney!

OOoh he loved it! I was really glad he did! If he hadn't, I would have left him down there! :thumbsup2

Okay, so I left you as we were leaving Epcot. We got on the bus and it was a very eventful bus ride! The first bus that pulled up, was one for anyone in a wheelchair. Now, I don't want anyone freaking out thinking that I am against wheelchair things (showers, buses). I had great-grandparents who were in wheelchairs and also a grandfather who had been in a wheelchair for over 20 years due to having his leg amputated. So, it pulls up and there was one wheelchair to get on and then also one of those riding carts. The lady in the riding cart, had her daughter and also her 2 grandkids with her. I laughed and laughed at those two little girls. The oldest one, probably about 10, was a HSM fan. She sang every song on the way back to the hotel. Then proceeded to make up songs as we went along. My head was killing me (well, what would you expect after all that alcohol!!) She sat across from us belting out song after song! It was cute, but I had a killer headache.
So, we get back to the hotel and I walk in the room of the in-laws....and what do I do.....THATS RIGHT!! ANOTHER WAKE UP CALL!! This time for 4:57 am. :rotfl2:
They were going to our ADR's at Chef Mickey's at 8:30 am, while we decided to just go straight to Universal.
We went to bed and had a nice nights rest.
We woke up the next morning (Well, I woke up the next morning) around 6:45, got in the tub, got out, got my makeup on and then fixed my hair(why I don't know with that humidity!) Then waited for Chad to get ready. We left for Universal around 8:20 am. We arrived!! We actually parked and headed towards the park.
Now, I didn't take lots of pictures at the park this time.

100_1928.jpg

We walked in the park at exactly 9:05 am. We headed straight towards E.T. Which, this is my problem with theme parks. If you open at 9 am, you should have things ready and open!! Don't keep the stuff closed till 10 am or 11 am (which they did!!). Six Flags did that this last time. I don't understand the concept of opening and then having certain things open later. Anyways, my rant over, we headed towards E.T. which was closed till 11. So, we went to the new Simpson's Ride. We were fans of the Back to the Future ride so I was anxious to see how the Simpson's ride was.
100_1933.jpg

100_1934.jpg

OH MY GOSH, I was so sick after getting off of this. I don't know how many of you have been to Universal and rode BTTF, but you have this screen in front of you. Then your shook like a milkshake until you feel like your gonna blow some major substances coming out of your belly! I was so dizzy!!!!
After that, we headed towards Men In Black! Now, I love this ride! It does not disappoint! My score was 127,000 which I thought was pretty good. Chad had 197,000 which I thought was good....until I looked at the MIB nerd that rode with us. His score was 999,999! Come on now!!!!! Geez louise!!!
We headed towards Jaws next and guess what....not open till 11!!!
So, we headed towards the Mummy ride. It was open, so we went in. It was a really, really cool inside roller coaster!!! It was really awesome! I was nervous, like I always am when I don't have a clue what is going to happen. Thank goodness for the 2 cute girls who were about 10 and 11 that rode with us. They were telling me about it before it started. You start off by going through this mummy crypt when you see the mean guy! He starts to grab you and then your in his tomb. There are a lot of special effects on this roller coaster. You see things everywhere and then its like the scareb bugs are trying to get you. The coaster turns to the right and then you are shot into complete darkness! I screamed and screamed like a girl (well, I can!) Then it was over! It was really great!
I took some pictures of things around the Mummy

100_1930.jpg

The sun will come out...tomorrow..
Oops, got a little off there! I just had to take a pic of the Hudson street home for girls!
100_1931.jpg

Luccccccyyyy, you got some splainin to doooo

Chad had to have this!
100_1932.jpg

Next we headed over to Twister! Again, we love it!
We decided to head back towards the Horror Makeup Show and E.T. Now, I am about to tell you all something that no one hardly ever knows about me. It is a fear I have, a fear that is real and a fear that is really, really scary to me. I am scared of.............

CLOWNS!! I hate them, I don't like to be around them. PERIOD!! Short story, in 2001 we went to Disney with Chads parents. While we were there we decided to go to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Now, the Icon that year that they used was Jack the Clown. All I could think of was, "Hmm, margarita bar before we go in?" Sure enough! We hit Nascar cafe! I was about an inch shy of feeling mighty fine once we walked inside the gate. Now, for anyone who hasn't been to it, the lights are out, they put blacklights everywhere. There are scaracters out everywhere! You have scare zones you walk through (that you have to walk through) in order to get to certain places. We walked in the park and Chad points to the sidewalk once we are in the park. I look over and there are...gulp...clowns! I freaked a little bit but kept walking. We stopped where a crowd was before going through a scarezone in total darkness. Chad told me to look behind me and there he was in all his scary glory......JACK THE CLOWN! Story over, inside the halloween makeup show, they have mannequins of Jack and also another Icon. Well, here I am posing with him....

100_1943.jpg

And yes, I was about 6 feet away! Are you crazy! I won't even get close to the mannequin!
100_1944.jpg

This was outside the show! Chad loves him so he had to have this!

100_1937.jpg

So, we decided to leave there and go to the Terminator show. We ran into some of our fav characters right beside it!

100_1940.jpg

100_1939.jpg

100_1938.jpg

We saw Spongebob but we didn't get a pic with him! We thought we would wait until Hollie could since she loves, loves, loves him!

100_1941.jpg

So, we went to the Terminator show. Then decided to head back to E.T. and Jaws! I love E.T. especially when he says your name at the end!

100_1936.jpg

100_1929.jpg

By this time, we had pretty much did everything we wanted to do there. Plus, it was only 11:15 am. We did that much in a little over 2 hours! Which was awesome!!!
We decided to go get some lunch and head back to the hotel before MVMCP!
We we left and I just had to take this picture! I love it, being the parrothead that I am!!

100_1945.jpg

We decided to eat at Bubba Gump's! We love BG's! We have ate that the one in Gatlinburg and the one in Orlando before. We always get the same thing....

100_1946.jpg

The Shrimper's net catch! yummy shrimp steamed in beer with a garlic butter sauce! It is so good!! the only thing I don't like about it is you have to peel it and your fingers smell all kinds of stinky afterwards! We also get the mama's garlic bread! It is so good!!!
So, after our nice lunch we headed back to the hotel!

Up next, MVMCP! And some major drama!

You guys knocked this one out pretty fast didn't ya? No way would I go to HHN! Hollies doll scares the daylights out of me!!!! I could NEVER do that party! :rotfl2: Great pics of you and Chad! I've never been on the Mummy Coaster. It was broken down on my last visit. I didn't even realize it was a real roller coaster! Cool. Those I LOVE. You know I'm waiting on the :santa: party pics....:yay:

We did! I was really surprised! I just knew we would end up not doing what all we wanted to do!
LOL!! Come on!! Lets go to HHN one day!! It will be really fun! I have to drink before I go in!! :rotfl:
You know, we didn't get the dolls out this year. I paid too much money for her to be toting them around loving on them! I have the bride too!!:rotfl2: That mummy ride was really cool!!

You won't believe this! I'm so scared of clowns too!! I will never ever set foot in HHN. I'd probably pee my pants. :scared1: I'd definitely have to take down a couple drinks. I love Universal. I grew up going to it over Disney. However, I guess I like how Disney engulfs you with the magic and Universal doesn't. Their rides are amazing though. The Mummy is my absolute fave ride ever. That's great that you rode everything you wanted to in 2 hours. Can't wait for the next installment.

BTW, got a question that does not pertain to the TR. Have you ever been to Lenox Mall or the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville on Black Friday? If so is it too much? Too crazy? I'm planning on leaving Macon around 5 am to get to the outlets around 7:30 hopefully. They open at 7. I'm mainly going for the Burberry Outlet. They are marking stuff down an extra 30 to 40%. Then when we are finished there, we'll head to Lenox and Phipps. DH is going with me. He loves to shop too. Am I in for a big surprise? LOL

Well I'm not usually scared of clowns but Jack the Clown would definitely scare me to death. Creeepy. You are a braver soul than you think to be able to stand that close w/ a smile on your face.:clown:

LOL!!! I think its because I took my time drinking them. Although, I did chug-a-lug that grey goose slush!!:rotfl2:

:rotfl: My saving grace last year at World Showcase was all that walking -- I think I would have been in much worse shape had I been sitting and drinking.

You did get lots done at Universal! The picture of Scooby Doo is too cute -- we love him at our house -- I remember watching the shows every Saturday growing up, and now Connor is the big Scooby fan.

So, is The Mummy like a real roller coaster -- like fast with inversions? I would love to ride it someday, but I am such a chicken woose on coasters. ;)

It is 6:30 in the morning, but my stomach started growling when I saw that plate of shrimp. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

Oh you are so cruel to your in-laws, but so, so funny :lmao:

I'm so glad you went to Universal, its so nice to see a report on it. I find a lot of people stick to WDW, which is brilliant too, I would love to spend all my time there and just concentrate on Disney, but I love all the other parks too so its great to see.

First off you are much braver than me going to HHN. I mean I can do a shark dive, parasail, hell I would even jump out of a plane for a good enough reason (with a parachute obviously)... but people in masks just creep me out, majorly :scared1:. And how they just seem to jump out at you, too scary for me :lmao:. We took Sophie to the London Dungeon's and there were people dressed up as dummys, you couldn't tell which were real and which weren't, it was so freaky. I was hanging on to Sophie so tight :lmao:.

And I agree about the opening times, this is so frustrating. We went to BG and ran to Sheikra to find it didn't open for an hour, so we ran to the other side of the park to Rhino Ralley, not open yet. By the time we actually got somewhere that was running we were so tired of running around and it had started to get really busy. And all the CM's told us different things... we would head to one they said was open only to find it wasn't :sad2:

I have been to Universal quite a few times now and have yet to go on Terminator... I will have to add this to my list. And your food at Bubba Gump's looks really good, DBF and I really want to try there. Don't know if we will have time in Orlando but may go to the one in Gatlinburg in the sumer.

Great report, can't wait for more :thumbsup2

Just caught up.

Totally in awe of your drinks around the world!

Glad to luau still happened for you. We watched ours in the rain.

I am also terrified of clowns, I hate all of them, even the ones that aren't supposed to pose a threat(haha)...We haven't been to Universal since 2004, but we are going to go in Jan. I can't wait, especically for the Mummy ride, thanks for the description of it! It wasn't opened yet when we went, we missed it by a few months when it first opened.

Great update Heather! Hope your inlaws liked their wake up call  . Universal looks great, I haven't been there since the 90's. I have to take the kids sometime.

Wow, all that in a little over 2 hours? That's awesome!

And oh man, I looooove Bubba Gump's! SO YUM!

I know! I was so happy we got it done in so little time!! More time to get ready for MVMCP!! Whooo hoooo!!
I do too!! We eat at the one in Gatlinburg whenever we go there! Yummo!!

You won't believe this! I'm so scared of clowns too!! I will never ever set foot in HHN. I'd probably pee my pants. :scared1: I'd definitely have to take down a couple drinks. I love Universal. The Mummy was sooo cool!!! We really enjoyed it! Yes, I can't stand clowns! The funny thing about it is one of my fav movies is Killer Klowns from Outer Space. One of those cheesy, spooky movies! But, once I seen It, uh uh no way!!! No clowns for me!!

We are hitting up Arbor Place Mall early Friday. The outlets in Calhoun are having an extra 40% off!!

Well I'm not usually scared of clowns but Jack the Clown would definitely scare me to death. Creeepy. You are a braver soul than you think to be able to stand that close w/ a smile on your face.:clown:

He is terrible looking!! Especially when you see him face to face and he tilts his head and waves at you!!

Yes, the walking really helped!!!
I love Scooby!!! I can't wait for Hollie to see him in Feb. She will have a fit!!!
Yes, it kind of reminds me of space mountain but it starts with special effects. Its really cool!!!

LOL!! That shrimp was soooooooo good!:thumbsup2

Oh you are so cruel to your in-laws, but so, so funny :lmao:

Aw come on!! You have to try HHN at least once! Its really fun (especially if you drink some first! lol)

When are you going to Gatlinburg? We are wanting to go back there next year. It only takes us about 3 1/2 hours to get there.
Not scary nights for me! :rotfl2: G's adams "pumpkin" is about as scary as I go. :rotfl2:

Major drama????? I can't wait!:rotfl2:
Oooooooh, yes!! It will amaze you! ;)

Just caught up.

Totally in awe of your drinks around the world!

Glad to luau still happened for you. We watched ours in the rain.

Thanks and :welcome:
I had so much fun drinking around the world!! Grey goose slush is the bomb diggity!!

Awww, that is terrible! How was it when its raining?

How cool are these countdowns???

http://www.**************/id/1229144312.png

OH MY GOSH!!! That countdown is awesome!!

I am also terrified of clowns, I hate all of them, even the ones that aren't supposed to pose a threat(haha)...We haven't been to Universal since 2004, but we are going to go in Jan. Oh, the mummy is so fun! You will just love it!!!!!

Great update Heather! Hope your inlaws liked their wake up call  . Universal looks great, I haven't been there since the 90's. I have to take the kids sometime.

Oh, they did! I did it some more, you know, so they would be able to get up and get ready!!:rotfl2:

Hi, my name is Lana and I'm afraid of clowns too! :lmao: I could never go into anything haunted, especially with scary clowns. My DS keeps asking me to watch that movie with the clown on a little bike ?? not sure what it's called but he's dreaming if he thinks I'll watch THAT! Not a chance, too creepy. :scared1:

You got through Universal in no time.
I havn't been on The Mummy.

I know what you mean about BTTF ride. I needed a time out after I rode it, to settle my stomach.

The pics with Woody Woodpecker and Scooby were very cute. Scooby is a favorite of ours too. My kids must have every DVD out there. It's something they both like to watch in the car on trips and not argue about. :woohoo:

Since we are talking about things that scare us, Lexi is terrified of E.T. She has never seen the movie or gone on the ride. Just the mention of E.T. and she looses it. :scared: She didn't even want to go into Universal because of E.T. I kept hoping we wouldn't turn a corner and he would be there in costume. That would have been a disaster.
I would have liked the ride but I couldn't convince Aaron to go on it.

I can't wait for the next update, sounds interesting....

We will be going to Gatlinburg sometime end of August - beginning of September again. We went that time this year and it was perfect for us. When were you thinking of going?

Do you go to Atlanta a lot? And have you been to Georgia Aquarium, WoCC and Stone Mountain Park?
