Atrium 2 bedrooms at VWL - odd shape?

Anyone know how they are set up? It looks like (from the map) that the room is oddly shaped.

You get more windows in the living room which was very nice and having the round table in the living room felt like there was more space.
What I didn't like was that the kitchen didn't feel as large. You don't get a snack bar since the livingroom couch is up against it and the washer and dryer are in the kitchen too. We had to remove items from the cabinet to have some space for our food.
We had a view of the pool and our other party had a view of the woods. They are close to the elevators which was very nice.

Here's how I remember it: Open door into a large space, to left is a bathroom, straight ahead is an opening to kitchen, to right is table and chairs with second bedroom a sharp right off the living room.. You can walk through the kitchen and there's a window and hallway, go right to livingroom, left to master bedroom. The livingroom couch is against the kitchen counter facing the tv. The livingroom is set up sideways compared to the other rooms.

We were in one of these rooms, 5th floor (can't remember the number). It was a 1-br lockoff, and we did have two balconies. We had one off the living room and one off the bedroom.

We loved this room, it just seemed a lot roomier and brighter with the extra windows. I would love to get that room again.

The one we had was a dedicated. I think it was the 3rd or 4th floor. One balcony.

Can you request these? Is there more room or less? Where exactly are they located?? Sorry for the questions...we have never stayed in the Villas and will be there in a week!! A 2Br dedicated is what we have booked from the Sunday the 13th to Saturday the 18th.

Check out DVCNews.com for a layout of VWL. You'll see the atrium room numbers.

You can request them; they're located near the elevator. We've had them a few times and felt fortunate to have gotten it.

When we got them I had requested a room near the elevator. Disney's picture of the WLV shows the building with a section that has a stone facade. The stone section is the livingroom with the master bd to the right and the second bd had the windows to the left of the stone section.
Good luck, I think they were spacious.
