I don't know if there is any one network--I think it depends on where your ATM card is from. Mine is issued by my credit union and I know which ones around town do not charge me a fee, though I can use it at most machines.

at most stores.. if you do a POS (Point of Sale). and get caah back, you ususally are not charged.. That is what we do. Or and buy groceries. Then get about $100 back in cash.

Eduk8r26 is right, it depends on where your card is from and what 'network' it is affiliated with. You should be able to ask wherever you got your card which ATMs in Anaheim/SoCal will not charge.

I used to work for First Interstate Bank of Washington, and we were able to use ATMs fee-free at any FIB branch in the country (then it was pretty much West Coast only.) However, if I used it at one of the 'network' ATMs I would be charged a fee by the bank owning the ATM I used, not by FIB. I believe there were other ATMs where the card would work, but I would get charged a fee by both banks! So be careful, it can get really expensive in a hurry!

well, my bank is bank of america and every ATM on disney property charged me 2.00 for each use. and my bank charged me 1.00 for each use too. so I developed a plan, since I was on disney property 99% of the time, I used my bank card at city hall to buy disney dollars. only problem was, I got sick and disney does not have any cold meds, there is some drug store stuff at a merchant on main street, you have to ask for it, but no cold stuff, anyhoo, so I went across the street from the front gate to a gift shop/drug store, which of course didn't take disney dollars, but did take my bank card with a 10.00 perchase. so for part of the day, I drank green tea and ate candy bars. later that day I did find airborne at a kiosk in DTD. Also, keep every recipt! disney does not like to buy back any leftover disney dollars without it. they kept telling me they make wonderfull suvenairs. I said, yep, but I already bought a bunch of stuff.

My credit union doesn't charge me a fee so I only get charged whatever their ATM's charge. I think they use Bank of the West of California.

I agree with just going to a store and getting cash back. I know there are places across Harbour that you should be able to do that with. Such as Subway. Get lunch, plus cash back. If you are able to get to one, you can go to a grocery store and buy a pack of gum and get cash back. Oh! There's a McDonald's, too, across the street, so you may be able to get cash back there, too.

I heard somewhere to buy Disney Dollars (no service charge), keep your receipt and then just change them back to cash. Handy if you don't want to go to one of the local stores. I usually buy Dollars and use them all up in the parks.

thanks for the replys, when we use the presto network the screen on the atm would tell you if there is any charge before using .We would only be charged one way if we did use one as our bank dosent charge so $2.00 is not bad,but would prefer not to pay at atll :rotfl:
