We are cruising in Nov 2007 and I was thinking about booking the Altanits excursion and I was wondering if it is worth the money and would it be a good idea to do with a five year old. All we will be doing is the Discover Altantis tour. So does anyone have any information on this.

We are going in Nov too. :goodvibes :goodvibes I posted a similar question earlier this week.

We are a family of 4 and someone suggested that Atlantis usually has really good room rates that time of year...someone got a rate of $99 in early Dec last year...that will give you access to everything...the dig...pools..& beach. I am hoping to get a rate under $200.

We are travelling with a 3,4,5 & 6 year old and were told that the guided Discover Atlantis Tour of "the dig" is long.... So if we don't get a good room rate we are going to go to Atlantis and do the tour ourself at our own pace.

Have a great trip!

I heard recently!

That they now sell wrist bands for the pools and slides.
at the front desk. no room required!!!

Maybe, someone could post more? :goodvibes :goodvibes

This is true, however............. they are very expensive!! When we were there in April, it was $105 per adult and (I think) $75 per child. Just recently I read that the price had gone up since then. DCL also sells an excursion (only available on the ship) that includes access to everything, transportation and lunch, but it was over $150 per person!!

The Discover Atlantis excursion does not give you access to the pools or the beach.

If you can get a decent rate on a room at either Atlantis or Comfort Suites, that is probably going to be less expensive.
