Atlantic Side Beach?

We live on the gulf but just got the idea to take a day trip to see the Atlantic ocean after disney. Any suggestions, experience, or advice?

I was going to suggest Daytona Beach, but since you will be there on spring break it will be a madhouse! That's the only Atlantic side beach I have been to in Florida

I didn't think about it being spring break.... maybe on another trip. Spring Break is crazy here too!

We were at Daytona Beach Jan 2 - 4. For me, I prefer Cocoa Beach. We took a day trip there in Jan of 2008 when we visited Disney World.

DH wants to go to Port Canaveral to fish and then we're headed to Cocoa Beach for the rest of the day.
