Four .. Two ways with spirit. Get them when they first come out and just sit back if you can and wait for the last min. My suggestion is have a back up plan . Seems spirit out of AC is rising there rates quick.

Usually Spirit out of AC is not that THAT cheap. We did it one August, when we got $168RT. Usually I see about $220/230 though. Most people who use that airport love it, and I guess will pay a little more for the convience.

Some of us here (from NJ) on this board bite the bullet and drive up to the NY airports to get $59/each way put of JFK and LaGuardia on Song or JetBlue.

Seriously, I would book it today. Their prices have been going up.

I booked our December trip, in January. Paid $153.40. Last time I checked, it was up to $242!

When I can find airfare under $200, I grab it!

I haven't seen any prices under $200.
So I guess there's no chance of the prices going down in the next couple of months ??

I doubt Spirit will come down, so if you want to fly out of AC, I would book it now.

You can probably get cheaper air with Southwest or AirTran, if you don't mind flying out of Philly. Southwest has been running around $179 and AirTran around $190. I just got an email, from AirTran, for travel until October 5, and the price was a little under $190.

I'll check Philly, too. We're travelling with family (12 of us) so we all have to agree on where we leave out of.

Does it matter what day of the week you leave?

We usually always leave on a Sunday morning and return Friday night.

I think some airlines have lower fares for travel mid-week, but I don't know how much cheaper.

I'm sure someone, on these boards, can help you out with that.
