Hi all. I am 7 days into induction and hope you can answer a few questions for me.
I just bought a few of the low carb bars(cookies n creme, 3 carbs) and I was wondering if I can have these during induction.
Also I never weighed in at the start so I have no idea how much weight I have lost. My pants feel alot better but how do I determine my CC?? thingie.
Where is everyone buying SF jello. For the life of me I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks

HELLO and WELCOME to WISH! We are so happy you've joined us.

I think I can help you some. SF jello is in the regular old grocery store- where all the jello is. The boxes ar usually a blue color. I'm sure that you have them in your grocery store.... jsut read the front label- they can be trickey to spot if you've never seen them before. they'll be much lighter in weight then a reg. jello box! They also have it alreday made in the refrigerated section at the grocery store- where they would have pudding andyogurt that need to be refrigerated. Also- use only the jello for now. The SF pudding has carbs in it.

Low carb bars- probably should not be used while you are doing induction. I would wait a while before eating those- sometimes., althought these are really ok to eat on Atkins, they can knock you out of ketosis- so be sure you pay attention for that. If you're looking for something sweet- stick to the SF jello and whipped creme- that'll help tremendously!!

Welcome to WISH! I also agree to try and stay away from the low carb treats right now. Even after induction -- take the addition of the treats slowly ---- as they cause some people to stall.

As a low carb newbie ;) you may find the links I have on my low carb webpage to be helpful --- www.wovenwonder.com/jodysjourney

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I will put the bars away for a few weeks.

looks like we are going to be seeing LESS of each other!

You can find a nice big box of the pre-made sugar free jello at Costco. You get 18 cups, strawberry, orange, rasberry flavors...yummy with some low fat whipped cream. :)

OMG - my first thought was - how do you make 18 cups of Jello at once!

I had to read that again. Now I get it. I live on SF Jell-o as a "sweet treat". Never have worried about whipped cream.

Can I add pure whipping cream to my decaf coffee? OOH, that would be a treat!
