OK...Lunch seems to keep throwing me....I need convient, easy to prepare lunches...besides tuna fish...does anybody have ideas....???

A tupperware bowl of salad with some sliced up leftover meat from dinner the night before is a favorite of mine. I have dressing in the fridge at work so if I don't have time or leftovers I can go buy a salad and use my own safe dressing.

If you have a Schlotzskys nearby they have a great chicken salad prepackaged in a bowl. It has grilled chicken, parmesean cheese, a little real mayo, some celery, black olives and almond slivers. I can never finish it and I'm always very satisfied until dinner. You could make your own too...

I do best just making extra dinner and making a package to take the next day.

Or you can do a can of chicken...which smells like tuna...but tastes much better!!!LOL.

If you have a microwave at work...I Love taking Boars Head hotdogs (those are the only ones I like)...wrapping them in a paper towel and nuking them for a minute or so....and eating them with dill relish and mustard. I cut them up like a 2 year old...but it beats the salad thing everyday. You can use the lowfat hotdogs too...I think that they may have a few more carbs in them though.

Sometimes I buy sliced roastbeef from the deli, put some mozzeralla cheese on it...and heat it up for a few seconds..then cut it with a fork and knife and eat it like a steak.

Or...sometimes if I am really gutzy...I will buy some cooked shrimp...you can eat like cocktail or melt some garlic in butter and nuke it and pour it over the shrimp....ummmmm!!!

Good luck..

Egg Salad, deviled eggs, Tuykey and cheese rolls ups, french onion soup (made with onion broth and cheese). :)

My absolute favourite is avocado filled with smoked salmon and prawns with heaps of mayo, paprika and lemon juice

I vote for Elsiebutt to make lunches for us to take to work!
Wow, smoked salmon. I have no imagination when it come to lunches. Salad with tuna and a side of cheese. OR a low carb EAS drink.

My faves are

hot wings with Marie's Blue cheese Dressing
grilled chicken ceasar salad
deviled eggs
marinated in Italian dressing cheese cubes with cumbers and bacon ( I know I am weird)
left overs
cheese and sausage omeltte
steak and cheese with mushrooms ( minus the sub roll)
tuna salad
seafood salad

an EAS shake (chocolate min is my fave!)

My usual staple each day is a Chicken Cheesesteak [no roll ofcourse]. This is something I really look forward to --- and it gets me right thru the day with no hunger!

The LaTortilla soft shell tortilla's are very good. You could make all kinds of variations of different wraps to take to work. You can check them out
here . Or go to the Latortilla website direct to search for a retailer in your area.
:D

I fry up a 2-3 pounds of hamburger at the beginning of the week. (Crumbled with some chopped onion, salt & pepper, and a splash of worcestershire sauce).

I keep it in the fridge and bring containers of it to work for lunch! I reheat it in the microwave, topped with a couple slices of cheese! Yummy!

Or, add some more spices and put it on top of a salad with some shredded cheese, salsa & sour cream and call it a taco salad!

I even have it for breakfast, topped with a couple of fried eggs!

Not very creative here, I always opt for Deviled Eggs, they are my favorite!! :)
