I am so loving this It especially appeals to my extreme tightness, using such tiny amounts of stash

here's where I am so far - don't compare to Michi's but I thought they were OK for a start

here's my UK one for ethnic and Snow White for Disney

The UK one was done with stuff I found on the computer, some ink and a safety pin (the sort that holds the packet of extra buttons on clothes - I told you I'm a hoarder )

The Snow White has Cosmo Cricket paper and some rhinestones as well as the dimensional sticker (not sure if it shows up very well) - I remembered the first pic od Snow White I ever saw was from some old sheet music from the movie my Mum had as a girl, and I was trying to get that aged, faded effect.

Here's my anything goes - Heroes, a pic of my great aunt and uncles from WWI, with ribbon, prima and stickle (trying to do a poppy, geddit?) and the Easter one has lightly embossed scrap from a mixed Easter kit and layers of cardstock using my new edge punch - I took the colour scheme from an advert I saw in the High Street (the colours look better in real life).

Off to do some more now - keeps me away from the chocolate

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm having so much fun making them. I will see exactly how many playing cards I have left. I'm trying just to use the Ace, 2's & three's cuz that way none of the suits are in the way of the clock that I stamp on there. If I have enough I will make one for everyone....

The UK ones each have a different picture - Houses of Parliament, buses etc.

This would be a good summer swap - if the due date was Sept i could take the stuff on vacation to keep me sane without any scrapping

Thanks! Yes, bare shoulders! (They didn't call it the Naughty Nineties for nothing, you know) Actually, we have very similar shoulders - not sure much else has a resemblance, although I am very fair-skinned (which she was presumably to get onto a Pears ad). You can't see in the pic, but on the actual photo you can see a lot of the dress detail and its got sequins and all sorts. I don't think she wore it for doing the shopping

Mazda, I love everything! I know that it wasnt this way but I get into how "they" romanticized the "Wars". If I could time warp I would go to Engl ans WWII period. But thats Hollywood for you.

Michi, you are doing a great job! I just hope to do as good as you later this summer when I host "Lyrics swap". You have been very on top of things especially your communuication and I would join any swap you hostess. Now that I see everything Im starting to "get it" and if you do this again I will join in.
Also, I have your Mad Hatter from another swap and would love that Rabbit.
So if you make extras and want to trade, please keep me in mind!

If you want your month groups back - I haven't started other than seeing what I have around- but I haven't even pulled anything for them so if it is okay with Michi it would be fine with me.

Susie,I'm happy to hear that your Mom is doing a speedy recovery. I know that type of surgery is a toughy. You don't realize how much you need your legs until you can't walk very well. I've been there, but worse....So I can relate.
Arizao Rita, I tell ya what. I will hook you up with the Rabbit when you sign up for the next swap or when I sign up for your lyrics swap. (I'm excited about that one by the way). Either way, I'll make one for you.
