I kept reading that most things at approximately $4 and under were eligible for snack credit. It looks like some things are bumped up.

DS got a bag of cotton candy and a character cookie, each 4.95.

AoA dining hall has smoothies for 4.79 DDP.

And.... Good news! Create your own Treat at Goofy's Candy Co. are back on the DDP! you can get a rice krispie treat, marshmallow or gingerbread cookie with one dip PLUS either a topping OR drizzle. I got a Mickey rice krispie treat dipped in dark chocolate and topped with crushed peanuts.

Great info! Thanks! We are going in a month and my DD loves smoothies. I am still learning all the dis "lingo," what and where is the AoA coming hall? :)

AoA is Art of Animation hotel.

Coming hall?? ..Their food court but its called Lascapes of Flavor.. you can get smoothies there!

So excited about the Goofy's Candy Co. news!!:yay:

We leave in a month...that should give me enough time to plan out what treat I'm going to create!

It's the little things in life.:goodvibes

Sorry posting from my phone. Auto correct strikes again! I meant to say dining hall. Landscape of flavors.

$4 is the old limit. Now it's around $5. And it was never a set limit anyway.

For a while they were only allowed the packaged bags of candy that were clearly marked as single serving and not the ones that said family. They're allowing the family ones again. Several times we I didn't want a dessert so I grabbed a bag of lollypops or other candy for the kids for later rather than waste the snacks.

At AoA I did find that it was odd that the create your own smoothie which I believe is the same price as the others is not showing as being snack credit eligible but the other smoothies are. I have no idea what they're thinking other than maybe keeping the line (not that we ever encountered one) moving.

Great Thanks! We may make a trip over there. We wanted to see the new resort anyway. A smoothie would be a special treat!:yay:

Yup 8 oz and under bags. We got a couple of the unicorn pop bags which have 6 individually wrapped unicorn swirl lollipops. My kids can barely finish one at a sitting so 1 bag serves the purpose of many snacks. The large 5 oz lollipops are huge (the nutrition information shows 9 servings :scared1:) and also make for good transportable, non-melting snacks.

Can you get a snack in place of dessert at the resort food courts for your dining credit?

yes, you can...we have bought the wrapped Mickey rice Krispie treats (and used them for breakfast the next day..it's cereal, right?) Have also grabbed the Minnie's Bake Shoppe packaged cookies as our meal dessert...they keep for a long time, are pack-able for the purse or backpack in the park and very big serving (big enough to share)

That is good news for many! I will add to my list of confirmed snacks-if you are still there check it out-there are many items to choose from.

Great I will post a photo on this thread later so you can see what the sign says.

your snack credit thread was one of my favorite resources! :)

Thank you so much for this info. I will definitely go to Goofy's for a treat. I am also excited to learn that if none of the desserts at a resort QS are appealing that I can choose one of the to go snack options. Not that we don't love desserts, but we are not used to eating them often so there are times when 1 dessert will be plenty for all of us to share.

Oooh! Good to know! I remember WAAY bk in the day whn gratuity was included for the TS, and you could get ANY item tht was $4 or less and use it as a snack. So u were able to get those big back of trail mixes, the full size bag of chips and such, like Lays and Cheetos. 2 Liter bottles of soda, etc. Unfortunately those days are LOONG GONE!
