Glad Disney is as magical as I rembered. I've noticed that people actually seem a bit more aware of folks in ECVs, which is so nice. Lots of people have seen me trying to wait for a break in pedestrian traffic to cross a street or get in a line and some people have stopped & let me go. Very nice. The rude people are still around. Once last night in the monorail line madness at the CR & once on the monorail 2 different dads were bashing-and I mean bashing- my ECV w/ their strollers. Large strollers. Both times I turned & asked where would you like me to go? Both times the men said move up we only need a foot. To one I said I'm 3 inches from the monorail door so I can't give you a foot. To the other I said well i can't move forward unless someone let's me into the wall of people....I'm not going to hit someone! Not sure where he thought he was going to go anyway in the tiny fenced in monorail canyon queu at CR!

Glad to hear your trip is mostly going great.:thumbsup2

unfortunately there are rude people everywhere, but it sounds like your trip is going pretty well!

Earlier this week we started at the Poly an rode the monorail around stopping at each resort. I had a rented ECV. All went well at the Poly, the GR and getting off at the Contemporary. Getting back onto the monorail at the Contemporary was a mess. Someone need to reassess the process for getting ECVs, wheelchairs, strollers, etc. off the elevator and getting onto a monorail.

There were no CMs available when we and another party with a double stroller got off the elevator. The stroller family said earlier in the day, they were told to wait right near the elevator. So we waited for the next monorail. It would have been difficult to get into the moving line. While we waited, a CM walked by, made eye contact with us, but he never told us we were in the wrong place to get on the monorail. We eventually got on, but it was more of a hassle than it should have been.
