Not me but I'm thinking of all those today and hoping for NO RAIN! I know one family was trying to see the HSM III at DCA!! Hope that was successful for you all :)
Let me know how it went, if you got to see it and how you liked it :)

I feel bad for anyone in the parks today. It is raining and will be raining and cold all day. I am glad I am inside.;)

Hot Chocolate anyone? Hmm... I was suppose to golf today... I be here doing ... :surfweb:

Stay warm all! postivie thoughts your way!

We tried to go to the parks today, we failed miserably. Didn't even make it 200 yards and we turned around. Tomorrow is always another day I can hope for!

ooh! We went! All wrapped up in our rain pants and coats and hoods. We made it 6+ hours and are napping now and going back for another 3 hours. Can' t believe how hard it rained. But the lines were sweeet:thumbsup2

Oh I bet the lines were sweet. I have been there when it rained, I don't mind it. But, I think that you have to be prepared and a die hard to do it.

One day I'm gonna go to DLR in mid January or Feb wearing nothing but gym shorts, a T-shirt, and sandals, and I'll run through as many rides as I can giddily embracing the cold and wet, with each passing hour raising the probability of me contracting pneumonia by the end of the day.

Oh my that conjures up the most interesting pictures in my mind!:rotfl:

Pretty close to how I dressed but I wore sandals, a tanktop and yoga pants. I live in SoCal and usually do not venture out in the cold so our vacation was a bit of a learning experience on cold/ rain attire! I didn't get sick though but boy was I cold!

Pics of how I dressed in my siggy. I don't recommend it!

That's my plan as well lol, but I think we're used too the rain.

It was me that was worrying about the weather and watching HSM 3. We did go and actually despite the rain had the best day out of the 3. We did not see HSM 3 b/c I am not sure they even show it on weekdays. So I am bummed about that. It did rain at one point really heavy. We only stayed about 4 hours as we have the toddler that needed to get back. In the evening we went to Hollywood to check out places there.

This reminds me of a guest I once saw wearing, of all things, a wetsuit and walking through the Park on a cold, rainy day.

Oddest thing ever. And the weird part was that it seemed completely normal for her.

I GOT WET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wore a poncho, fuggs that were already sprayed w/ rain protecting stuff, and socks that were supposed to keep out the water. But yes, I still got wet and at least I either got used to my soaked socks or it started to dry up in my shoes. When the rain came down hard, it was so hard to not get rain in your eyes, so the only thing to do is look down and hope that you're w/ everyone and that you won't bump into anything.
On the positive side, the lines were short (Indy was the longest & that was w/ a FP & the rain had stopped) and I got to see the new IASW. I was mainly there bc it was my bro's b-day, so my fam & I were there to celebrate!

Those of us in Orange County got down poured on today - a few times!

I was surprised to hear from a friend I talked to who was at the Park today that DL closed early (due to the weather).

And to answer the question that pops up on here a lot, due to the rain she said there were fireworks, but no Fantasmic!

- Dreams (whose pup refused to go outside today - even when he had to! :lmao: )

Disneyland was originally scheduled to close at 11 PM Monday, but in the afternoon, the closing time was changed to 9 PM. There was no Fantasmic!.

We were there for a while, then we had to drive home but since the Grapevine was closed we had to go 10 with everyone else...so the drive that should have taken 8 hrs took 10....that was super lame, driving the 5 takes us 6 hours.
It was wet, it was cold, but it was still fun. :)

Oh yuck, yuck yuck! How awful! I hope everything else was good though!:goodvibes
