At the age of 43..........

I beat a lot of odds. On May 4th Christopher Michael entered the world. He's perfect. Now I have one attending prom this weekend, one entering HS in Sept. and a newborn. Talk about blessed.

Yes, you are blessed! I have one 16 and one turning 9. I wish I had another baby but I had to have a hysterectomy last January. I wish you all the best.

Another "old" mom here! Had my first at 32, and my second at 42. My second was very high risk, with life threatening problems, but I looked and felt better with the second than the first. :goodvibes The typical comment was "You don't look and act anything like your chart says you should." :lmao:

Now that my youngest is in a Jr/SR high, I blend in a lot better. I also have a greater incentive to take good care of my health, as he'll need me for a few more years, so I'm healthier now than I was when I got pregnant with him. :thumbsup2

Congratulations. Our 2nd dd was born 8 mths ago when I was 39. We waited a long time for her, and I'm having so much fun this time around!!! Our 1st dd is a huge help, which I'm sure your other children will be also.

Being an "older" mom is wonderful, in my opinion!!

Having the patience and maturity of your 40's will be very helpful in raising your son!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :thumbsup2

Congratulations.......children are a blessing :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!......Plus he shares his B'day with a really cool guy, my DH!! LOL!!! ;)

DH (42) and I (41) have just, this week, decided to adopt. We never tried to concieve, although I considered it. I applaud and admire all women who give birth!!! I really am awed by those of you who have the passion and determination to tackle infertility head on!! I know it's natural but as much as I love kids and want them, I have always been freaked out by the thought of being pregnant and giving birth. I always wanted to adopt. Is that weird???

CONGRATS again!! Enjoy....he's gorgeous!!

Congrats and enjoy!!

I am an older mom too. DD10 was born 2 months after I turned 42.

She is my bonus baby. She has been a blessing to us and to both sides of the family.

Your post and picture brings back some lovely lullaby memories.

Thanks for sharing your good news.

Welcome, Christopher Michael!!!

Congratulations on your new blessing. He is beautiful.

Christopher Michael is my DS name, too. Have a wonderful Mother's Day. :thumbsup2

You know this is one of the nicest threads I've opened on the DIS in a long time. You are blessed and that baby will be blessed.

AHHHHH!!!! Congratulations to YOU and YOUR entire family!!! :goodvibes

My oldest son is CHRISTOPHER :thumbsup2

My yougest son is MICHAEL :thumbsup2

You have selected two very special names!!!!! :teeth:

Congratulations, he's beautiful

I had my DS11 when I was 43. It's the perfect age!

You can also pass for way younger since most parents are younger!
