So if we go to the parks only the 2nd half of the day…how can we use lightning lane??

They scroll thru available time.. you can refresh and see later times.. unfortunately they also sell out for the day so you'll need to do it before they sell out

For G+/LL, you get next-avail time, you cannot choose. For ILL purchases, you get time choices. If you want to use it effectively the 2nd half of the day, it's recommended you go to one park in the morning, and plan to 'hop' later to the park you wish to use your LL. For example, if you want HS LL attractions later in the day, maybe you have a park reservation for EP in the morning. At 7AM, you can actually book LL for HS, and since you have to hop there, the earliest you'll get a slot is 2PM. Not sure if that helps of not.

If you are wanting to make 2nd half of the day Genie+ reservations in the park where you have your park reservation for the day, you would just need to wait until return times get to the part of the day you are wanting. You can't choose those times. If you are hopping to another park and wanting to make reservations for that park instead of the one you are in, then I think you can select an attraction and it will automatically pick a time after 2pm.

Taking a step back just to clarify - did you already buy Genie+ and add to your day? They don’t sell those in half day increments and that helps you access a bunch of different rides. Aside from that did you attempt to buy any Individual Lightning Lanes yet and if so which ones are you trying to get?
