Arrived yesterday. We are in room 6432, a nice 1BR. The room is clean, fresh, and nicely located.

The crowds seem very moderate and the weather is great! :thumbsup2

It is nice to be back at our original "Home".

I hope you have a wonderful trip! We will be coming to join you Sunday!:cool1:

We'll be there next week, can't wait! Save some sunshine for us ok? You said the weather is great, can you be more elaborate? I'm debating on what/how much to pack! Thanks!

We love our beloved OKW resort as well. We will be down at WDW in 32 days but this time we will be at SSR. Can't wait...:yay: :yay: :yay:

We arrive next Thursday. Anxious to hear specifics on the weather.
I have been checking weatherchannel.com but I like to hear from disers.
Thanks~need to start packing.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. I just got back from my morning run and it feels wonderful outside. Is there anything better than starting a day with a run, walk, stroll, crawl at a Disney Resort watching the World wake up!?!?!?!? :yay:

To elaborate on the weather, it had been sunny and breezy for the first few days. Then yesterday (Tuesday) the forecast called for sunny and 78-80 and it was 68-70 and really dreary.:confused3 We spent the morning at MK and the afternoon at Prime Outlets where my DW "saved" us a ton of money! (That's what she told me. :) )

Anyway, the weather today calls for sunny and 77! :thumbsup2 We are on the way to AK and HS, then dinner tonight at Jiko.

WDW Lifelong Fan Thanks for posting.

We are heading up on Friday and can't wait! It sounds like layers are the name of the game! Any thoughts on if it is too cool in the evening for a 9:30 pm wishes cruise? We are scheduled to take my DD for her birthday. It is a 21 ft boat on Bay Lake. They moved the time of the fireworks back an hour and I am wondering how chilly it might be?

Thanks!

Layers are the way to go. We have worn shorts/sweatshirts in the a.m. and khakis and sweaters at night.

Not sure on the cruise. I would go and use layers again. Perhaps a wind breaker as well to ward of the breeze. We rode the boat to/from DTD and it was breezy but pleasant. This route is shielded a little by the woods on both sides. You won't have any shield on Bay Lake as you know.

Have fun!

thanks for the post! I'm looking forward to my trip at the end of the month.

Glad to hear everything is in nice shape!

Has anyone heard if the glassware has been put back in the studios? I have ceramic coffee mugs & dish detergent packed just in case. I miss the good 'ole days.

We were in an OKW studio last month and it was still plastic. Spork anyone?:rotfl2:
