What 3 things (or more) are you hoping to accomplish? Return later and post you're done...

I need to:

1) Keep plugging away at the move got the kids side nice. Plan in place for my side...I should start posting progress pics

2) Work on swap stuff Yeah...bit I got a new idea for my Minnie Monday...so rethinking that one....

3) :laundy: DS19 threw in a load yesterday to help me out, as I was out of town :goodvibes folded DS19's load, but no new ones

4) Chicken for dinner looks yumm-o...recipe on the soup can...

News from yesterday: The Flower Show was AWESOME. My BFF and I had a great time! Then on the way home we went to IKEA...she had never been, and we powered through. Her mind was reeling :rotfl:

So I called DH just to make sure what he was up and picking up DS16 at school (DH works midnights)...and he didn't sound right...My mommy antenna went on allert...and he says "Well, so you want to continue your fun, or do you want to know what happened?" :scared1: He was sitting in the dentisit office...DS16 has a very agressive gym class, and the teacher lets the boys act like jerks (a jerk himself) and they were playing "pillow hockey" and one guy sticks his stick between another guy's legs, he trips, falls on DS16, who snaps off a tooth!!!! I am LIVID at the !@#$%^ teacher, but  my DH to get DS16 right to the dentist! They had to bond his tooth, and we are now waiting to see if there is any nerve damage. And I have to keep from strangeling that teacher!

OH NO, Debbie! I'd be SO mad at that teacher!! I hope there's no nerve damage for DS!!

Good for DH to get him right to the dentist and not calling to ask what to do...

It's so funny you said that...I really am proud of him!:love2: He did everything right :goodvibes He did call my friend at work that we carpool with, and asked her..."So should I call Deb at the show?" She was like "Nope, let her have fun", after she knew he had things under control. Then when I was talking with her today, she was telling me not to be mad at him for not calling me right away, and to blame her, as it was on her advice. But honestly, I'm really more angry at the school, and poor DS16 is just wanting to crawl under a rock, as he doesn't want "oh mom" to make a scene.

I had just sent this teacher an email too, about signing off to let DS miss his health class to go driving, THEN giving a quiz druing that class...and DS missed it. BIG HONKING ZERO on his grades...and DS wasn't getting anywhere asking him about it...GRRRRRRRRR... D***A$$...I do NOT have my happy face on today :headache:

Man Deb, I would be submitting that bill to the Board of Ed!!!

Nancy you have a Buffy list today. LOL

My list for today

1) pay bills

2) spend the rest of that day getting caught up on swap stuff and scrap stuff. I need to get my bag ready for Lisa's on Sat.

I am taking a personal day!

Deb,

Did they take x-rays? From personal experience, they need to make sure that the roots aren't fractured. DS's did at age 2 after a fall and I am so glad that his DDS was proactive to get those films because everybody he saw that it was just cosmetic damage.

Just a thought.

SUsie

Man Debbie, I would be livid. My son would be crawling under a rock, he knows his mom is kinda crazy when her babies are hurt or sick. My insurance company would definitely be knowing this happened on school property, during school hours, during what should have been an "adult" supervised activity and that the "adult" did knowingly and willingly put the minors in care in harms way. Oh yes, the Mama Bear would be roaring.

Pixie Dust that there is no nerve damage. But I believe worst case is that he gets a root canal and cap. On the schools bill!

I am finally feeling stronger today. The little bit of work I did yesterday really wiped me out. Hoping to get fully caught up so I can spend time on my swaps tomorrow. Also need to get to Hobby Lobby tomorrow as all their adhesive is 1/2 off and I really need to stock up.

PN96- We have an hour delay, but only three other school districts in our area have delays. The weather did not get as bad as they predicted. Glad for that.

Glad it didn't get bad there.. DH said we have about 1/4 in of ice..and about
1" of white stuff and than another small dusting of sleety stuff on top of it.. He did scrap my windows and all our walkways this morning before he left..but he told me to go out 15 mins. before I left..and warm the van and spray the windows down again...(well, duh, but he was trying to make amends from yesterday)..

OOh, and we are suppose to get another round of white stuff on Friday... Hello, I'm over winter.. bring me some sunshine and thunderstorms anyday!!

Hey, I see this funny look round circle in the sky that has a orange hazy to it.. what is that funny looking roudn thing called?????? It brightens the day.. off to warm up my van for the kdg. run!

WE are having our "wind" drills statewide at school today..and at home... although w/ my little ones I watch..they know the drill..sirens.. basement.. even is they hear the police sirens on a run they head to the basement!

5- That's all folks.

Good for it not being McD's.. We took DsS out for his 17th birthday on Sunday... he chose AppleBee's.. for 7 of us.. it was our grocery bill... I told him next time.. he could choose the meal and I'd cook to save us some money! I about fell over w/ the bill...but considering 4 of the 5 are over 10 there are no more kids meals for them!

Our McD's is closed for 100 days, they are adding on and referbing the whole building. Doesn't stop them from asking though.

Yeah, I am thrilled. She chose a local hamburger joint (that is awesome) with a playground outside. Since it will be 78 today, it will be great to be outside. Of course it will be 48 and raining tomorrow.
