1) Drive kids to school done...

3) Cuts for gluing at work

4) Pack up SS .41 envie...which will actually cost over a dollar to post...

Happy Leap Day!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Work--DONE
2. Nap (my 2 constant list items!!)--DONE
3. Empty dishwasher
4. Assemble one swap
5. Pack up resort swap, everyday swap, and SS stuff to send tomorrow--DONE
6. Maybe dust living room (tomorrow is our cleaning day--anything I get done today, I don't have to do tomorrow, which means MORE SCRAP TIME!!)--my mom changed up our plans from Sunday to tomorrow. My DH said to go on, that he'd do the cleaning! YAY!

Well, I was going to go to Archivers and jump off the wagon, but with the little bit sick and DH really doing work at home, I have to stay here and keep the little bit out of Daddy's hair. {little bit would sit and talk to Daddy all day if he could}

1-laundry
2-wash kitchen floor, mud room, laundry room & front entry
3-put said laundry away (it's been in its basket all week)

Happy Leap DAY!!!

1. Load Dishwasher Done
2. Empty Dishwasher Done
3. Done & put away!
4. Check to make sure I packed everything for tonight Done and by the door ready to go
5. littlest kids to school Done
6. older kids to school Done
7. pick up kdg. child Done
8. go to grocery and get cat food (was just there yesterday and no one told me we were out! Done, the lady I babysit for is going to grab some since she has to go anyway for her cats!
10. drop off money for DS11's lunch forgot to give to him this AM DRAT!

11. make dinner for DD14 to heat up for the kids when I have to leave for DS11's BB game
12. Have DS11 call and check on DD and the gang since DH is meeting us at the game
13. DH coming home to take care of the rest of the gang while DS11 and I spend the night at a hotel.. He is so excited because he has quality/quantity mommy time
14. Report card day!!! 2 home and 3 to go.. 2 home are A/B honor roll!!!!
15. ????????


16. Strip and make bed in our room done
17. Check DsS's room only to find that DH didn't make his bed from 2 weeks ago.. stripped and re-made that bed... Done

What time do your little ones go to school?

The older ones get on the bus at 6:45, but the little ones don't get on the bus until 8:20.

We have accounts for school lunch. I put $50 in and DS using a code to pay every day. They let me know when it is down to two lunches and I can put in more $$.

My elem. kids get the bus @ 7:05... they are home by 2:45
My big kids get the bus @ 8:10.. they are home by 3:45

It's good because if parents work.. and there is a delay the big kids can watch the little ones in the morning.. the bad side.. is the little kids have no one to come home too if their parents aren't off work by 2....

We have accounts at school too.. we can check on line..but to date they still don't have the service up yet where we can deposit online... We checked last night and it was below what we normally have in there...so I wrote a check...but it was on the table when he left.. I'll be there before lunch anyway.. lunches start at 10:30am...he goes at 10:45...so he'll have lunch money waiting in the office @ 10:15.. Right now, the only way they send a note home to let you know you are low on lunch is if you are already in the hole by 2 lunches... well, if you are in the hole for 2 lunches...they feed you PBJ... then the note comes home... according to my DS he has seen a lot of kids upset about this.... that is why we check once a week on his balance.. Last year, I was running through lunch money like water..come to find out... lunch ladies were charging my son for both his lunch AND my step-sons lunch.. I went to school and threw a fit and it was taken care of.. I don't mind helping out..but that is what DH's support money also does... and his mom was sending the money in...

2. scream, I GIVE UP!!! The Gods win. I am not destined to get ahead. Read on. done, and I feel so much better.

3. Call the attorney. Still dealing with that mess. More on that later.

4. Call the well pump people, it died last night and we have only had it for 2 years. Repeat #1 because I can't find the warranty because of the stupid flood we had last year. So we will probably have to shell out another $1500. done, thank god for small favors. They have a copy of the warranty there. they will be here "sometime" on Wed. Yep, WED! Which means showers and laundry at mom's.

5. Call the doctor, I am getting worse, didn't sleep a wink last night I was coughing so hard. And now my ribs hurt. done, 3 pm appt

6. Now for the one good thing for the day. Take mom and DD to get their hair cut. done, and they look so cute! It's been about 10 years since mom has had anyone besides me cut her hair.


Do you know why #4 happened??? Because I planned a Disney trip (SDV). Yep, this house hates me and doesn't want me getting used to the warm weather in FL.
WDW - April 2005 - Well pump died 2 days before we left.
WDW October 2005 - Water heater started to leak. Temporary patch in place. Died the day after we got back.
WDW Dec 2005 - Car died on the way to the airport.
WDW August 2006 - Day before we leave DS6 has massive, crippling back spasms, is laid up for 3 days. Thank God for our chiropractor and my mom.
WDW March 2007 - MAJOR flood in basement 3 days before we leave.

We are getting ready for DD's big slumber party for her 8th birthday tomorrow. She only wanted to invite 3 of her closest friends (thank goodness) plus her cousin. Such a sensible girl. She hasn't figured out that she would get more pressies if she invited more... thank goodness and I am not going to be the one to tell her.

1- grocery done
2- load dishwasher done
3- unload and reload dishwasher done
4- clean one bathroom done
5- clean DD's room done
6- make beds done
7- figure out Stampin Up order
8- STRAIGHTEN, STRAIGHTEN, STRAIGHTEN done

That note was in the VAN.. it's a 7pm game.. and we have to be there by 6:30pm.. so be ready we have rush hour traffic to deal w/.. usually isn't as bad as most people who think of rush hour traffic..but there is always that one IDIOT who should have never been allowed a drivers' license..

Explain to DH this is another reason you should come live by me.. WE have city water.. pump goes out.. it's on the city not you!
I really wish they would get your cough under control..that is a miserable feeling, no sleep, rib cage hurts..... Tell them you need better or they can watch your kids, clean your house...

Thanks for the wishes w/ DS tonight..

He is my shy, quiet one...so this will be good for us to talk.. Especially since he has been itching to tell me about the videos he saw this week for "CPR".. better known as Creating Positive Relationships.. in the terms of our generation... it's sex ed. I think he likes tell me about it because mommy turns 120 shades of red...

I get alot of time w/ DS7 when the others are at ball practices...and DD and I shop together alot.... so this is just the thing DS11 and I need...

Well, DH and I talked and it looks like my to do lists are going to be:

1) Pack up crap room

2) move stuff to storage and basement

Seems that DH's DUnc96 will be moving in with us...untill DH says "we" (read me) aren't able to care for him anymore. My crap room is on the first floor, right off the kitchen, and is an "inlaw suite"... and as such is the perfect set up for DUnc96...

So, DH is starting to bring home the boxes for packing, and I have to move in with the kids... DS16 is sorry to see his gameroom invaded, and not happy that mom will be sharing. So, I guess Mike's classes ending when they did is a blessing after all...

Always something....
