Pricing last year was $58/single or $180/challenge and DID sell out (on the first day iirc)

If they reveal themes 2 weeks before registration, that puts it on next Tuesday.

Someone was asking about this on reddit so i’ll just say that although it certainly won’t be as insane as a regular race registration, if you’re interested in these I would treat it like a regular registration if possible rather than putting it off and risking it selling out. Not a lot of posts on this last year but from what i remember the individual medals sold out fairly quickly and the challenge sold out last?

Definitely depends on what they do with these. Attraction themes were great last year.

So I went back and looked. 2 of the individual events sold out in about an hour. Challenge was updated on here as sold out 22 days after opening. There was also a lot of chatter about it being the 10th anniversary, people loved the themes, the medals were cool, etc.

Themes were teased… it’s a retro/throwback theme idk what the individual themes will be and what will be challenge though

I was solidly NOT going to do any more virtuals. Then they had to bring back Hercules. And Kuzko. Crap.

Also had zero plans to ever do a virtual but Pocahontas and Goofy Movie… ooof idk if I can resist that.

Mentally I’m like I don’t need to drop $ on virtuals on the other I’m like well I got shut out of mw & W&D so if I can get through the queue and it’s not sold out before I need to clock in on the 7th… F it …

From a PW perspective it's interesting that Pocahontas is featured here, hasn't been a PW theme since 2020 and could have been an option for next year but maybe that's not happening.

It makes me sad bc I love that movie so much for what it is as a standalone art piece, but fully recognize that Pocahontas, as a real person, is not the easiest princess to market from a culturally sensitive standpoint.

In the past it's just been three 5ks with a challenge medal available if you want them all. Being in summer, I don't think Disney wants to be responsible for any heat-related illnesses

At least one of the virtuals was all-or-nothing, rather than allowing for each individual or challenge. I don't remember which one.

I didn’t realize how long they’ve been doing this. Since 2016! And yes, I believe it’s all 5k, not that they track any of this.

The medals will all say 5k. Choose your own adventure and run as much as you want!

I believe it's the Christmas virtual that is all or nothing (and possibly the valentines one they did last year?) The summer series has always been 3 individual choices OR challenge.
