My FIL just moved from the So. Bend, IN area...and he said he is just thrilled not to deal w/ the lake effect sn**right now!!!!

I told DS8 this morning that it was time for the family meeting... it cost 10 Cents every time you get caught saying the dirty word SN**.... DH and I pay 10 cents every time the weather forecaster uses the word... last year we paid for a movie night for the family!! LOL

My parents used to do this (except not with sn*w, we would have had like 30 cents for my entire childhood! ). The phrase "your mama" was the thing to say back then and my mom got tired of us saying it so she would charge us 10 cents when we said it. I'll never forget my brother slapping down a dollar in pre-payment when he was having a bad day!

Ok, all you cold people come visit me in Texas! Highs in the upper 70's today! 'Cold front' on Friday- highs in the low 60's.

4- load dishwasher done
5- Target for Wall-E and dog food done
6- clean DS's room done
7- clean DD's room done
8- organize DD's drawers
9- call brother- it's his birthday!
10- upload pics and address file from external hard drive done
11- order Snapfish pics, free shipping today done
12- upload pics to Shutterfly, order free prints from Archiver's promotion done
13- wash DS's sheets in wash
14- pick up DD from library done

Never had lake effect growing up because we were on the east side of the state. Now we live about 12 miles from Lake Michigan so we get so much more. I could do without it except from Thanksgiving until New Years. Although my kids love it now. When the pond freezes (we live on one) they love to play on it - hockey, ice skate or they sled done the hill on it.

i love my vanilla chai from dunkin'! but i can't do it that often because i get hooked very easily. so it's a treat for me when i do have it. i could really use it today. it's so cold out right now. i'm waiting for bubba to get off the bus. i have to be out there at quarter of. and the bus driver is so nice she drops him right off at the driveway. he love her too. she's super nice to all the kids. she sent me a really nice get well soon card. it's was beautiful.

Mine loves hot chocolate, so we get the huge 90 packet box at Sam's club for him. Also a few of the Land-o-Lakes fancy ones.

i was thinking a gift cert to panera. she was his driver last year too and she had a stroke right after school started and he so missed her. then i came home from work one day and my mother said Kim called. I could not believe it. So I called her back and she said that the driver filling in for her told her that bubba was asking about her, so she just had to call and talk to him. I mean she really does care about bubba. I made her a paint can last year and put a gift cert for one of the local restaurants in it and she just loved it. we call her Kim Possible! he gets such a kick out of it! at the beg of the school year I told him I'd pick him up everyday and he said -no thanks. i like to ride home with Kim!
