Send DH off for his hunting trip done

Ok, I didn't do so well on my list for Wednesday! But, now it's Thursday. . .my favorite day of the week!!!

Here's my list:

1. Work--again, DH is off with DS, so I don't drop him off. . .work stinks right now, so I like marking this one off!!--DONE
2. Pick up Thanksgiving cards
3. Make grocery list--DONE
4. Clean bathrooms--one down, one to go!
5. Fold laundry
6. Clean kitchen
7. Spaghetti for dinner--DH got Chik-Fil-A!!
8. Get stuff ready to take DS to Mom's on Friday
9. Get pics together for SIL
10. Sign up for surprise swap! I'm excited to be feeling better and get back to swapping!--DONE

Glad it is Thurs. Everyone is in school although DD said her stomach hurt this morning. I hope she says in school all day.

WDWMom: I'm telling ya, it's this crazy weather we are having here in the midwest! This is just odd... I like the warm but it sure if playing havoic w/ our kids!!!

Little Mister said he was still stuffy this morning but well enough to go to school. I just love that kid. He truly doesn't want to get behind in school so I think he is sucking it up. End of the marking period is tomorrow and he had a test yesterday in lang. arts he now has to make up. Glad to hear he has a good work ethic. So not like his sister at all.

Nancy, I'm not really sure what is going on weather wise. I get a horrible cold every Oct. and that hasn't happened at all. Big Mister never has asthma problems until Nov., but was having them in Sept. Go figure!!!

And DD, she was either faking it, has craps, or needs to sleep. Stomach seems to hurt when she is sleep deprived. Regardless of which one it is, I'm not falling for it. Off to school you go and stay unless you puke. I'm such a bad mom, but when she doesn't try to make up the work she is missing, she doesn't stay home.

OK, so that one is done, but before he left he told me that DS16 found what he wants to give me for Christmas...but DH didn't have time to get it before he left so would I mind...but I have to act surprised on Christmas. Sure, what is it?

OMG...I jumped right on it! Who knew that these guys could be so thoughtful! OH, and smart...who knew I'm so excited! Had to share cause only you guys and my boys (I'm stunned...they really do listen) would totally understand...

Yup. I throw that bad boy in the crock pot, and baste through the day. It's DS16's fav...he has been begging me and I finally promised to make 1 big ham a month...
