 Hey Mickster..

this job is really keeping you from us!!!! We need a meeting w/ your boss ASAP!!!

How are things? How is Dad? Are the kids enjoying school!!?

Seriously! Well, to be honest it is a combination of work and kids stuff...DD is now taking Dance (which she loves!) and Girl scouts (which hasn't started yet) and DS has soccer (which is almost over...:)) and Cub Scouts and CCD...I just need a break from something every night...but I know that is what is going to happen for the next 10 to 15 years...:lmao:

My dad is doing great! He just had blood work and the doctors are happy with his progress and say his blood is better than the general population. Phew...

Other than that...not too shabby...How are you?? :)

Yeah that is great to hear about your Dad~ Mickster!!! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

I know what you mean about the kids... we are going into our 2 week downtime starting next week (well starting next Thurs).. this will be the downtime between sports seasons.. We are busy every night... so the kids love the 2 week breaks they get between seasons and they thrive to do family events than during week as well as weekends... Mom said to me the other day "you'll be glad they are out of the house"... I almost hung up on her...but I thought you know what.. I love these days.. they may be busy...but my kids are having fun, love being involved, love participating, so I'm glad to do this.. I'll probably miss it when they start driving themselves... but I won't miss an event even when they start driving!!!! :) Truth be told.. you can have some great quality get to know you, what are your future plans, child-parent moments in those car rides or sitting @ a sibling event.... MY gosh.. what I have learned from my kids is worth a mint!!! :)

How is the running going???

I soooo agree Nan! We are at least 15-20 min from everything where we live, and it was really a good time to connect with my kids.

I'm also the "crazy" mom...we would car dance, sing really loudly and badly, and just have a good time. Now that mine are both driving, I do miss it...especially after school carpool...I learned so much about school, friends, drama, teachers...it was really the best time of the day!
