UCF has a great hospitality program- one of the best in the country and it is right near Disney!!! You could visit each time you came to drop off and pick up- all the kids would want to come.

looks like Princess J will have family in lots of places to choose from. It would be really nice to think that you could feel at ease knowing one of us would be there for her in a snap! tough to be so loved!!!!!

I agree Lisa, but Providence College is also nice!!!!

OmG! I'm probably going to have to look out of state for her.. it is getting harder and harder for us to get into our own state colleges..

She wants to major in athletic training/sports med..... I'll keep you all posted.. I was in a mtg. w/ her counselor this morning.. well not her counselor because I think he is a twit..but met w/ her XC coach who is a counselor... I refuse to deal w/ the twit! Anyway, good thing I went in because the ACP/AP course are actually 3 tri-mesters!!! So we had to shuffle some of her classes.... which is okay.. it's only a plan... then I found out the cost of some of the course could hit $350 each because we pay for the college credit! UGH! Mommy is gonna have to get a job!!!

That's not right that you have to pay for the AP classes. DS has 2 AP classes this year and we don't have to pay a thing for the class or the college credit he'll earn if he passes the AP tests in May.

I know... I'm wondering if it's only the ACP class that we will have to pay for.. I've got an email out to the counselor to make sure I didn't mess them up!!
I'm hoping I messed it up..and the AP course she'll just have to take the test to earn the credit....

that would mean only the ACP would be $300 plus.... still alot of money...but better than paying for all of them that way~

It is still cheaper in the long run than if you have to pay for college but here's some that she will get some great scholarships.

DsS17 leaves for college Aug 2010..
DD leaves Aug 2012
DsS Aug 2013
DS Aug 2014..... Lucky for us 2014 DsS 17 graduates before DS goes into college.
So at one point or another in time we will have 3 in college at once!


Thank gosh when DS8 goes to college DS14 graduates from college and we will only have 1 in college and that is the last one!

We are already searching for scholarships for DsS..and he is mad because we are making him apply... both parents told him.. apply to help us or find we don't send you!!!

My parents had some like this- I graduated the year before my brother's started but they weren't finished before my sister started. The one nice thing is each school will factor in having more in college and give you better grants normally.
