Welcome to Monday! Today is MLK Day, a holiday...kids have no school, the PO closed (which I didn't realize last week...DUH!)

• Send 365 pics from last week to Walgreens to develop done
• Call Dr office for eye surg consult...put it off long enough, and after my trip to the ER on Friday, and seeing on call eye dr on Saturday, not to mention loosing time from work this weekend (I don't work, I don't get paid) I gotta do it... done...Jan 30
• Call to make eye appt for DS16. He wants contacts for his bday... Done...Feb 4th, and got mine that day too
• Do Hope's paper mission
• Work on Surprise Swap
• Work on CJ's
• Dinner burgers maybe?

And let me just add...I HATE WHEN THE SMILEYS ARE MOVED!!! No Dancing banana on the first page? You gotta be kidding me!!!

Morning all Monday again. Hope everyone had a great weekend. No holiday here so kids have left for school and DH should be leaving soon. It's still really cold here so I think I will stay in my sweats for the day.

Morning!

this is the 2nd time i've written this. my computer froze up last time and i had to reboot!

deb- make that appt. and i see you are back to mushing the bag? i thought you made it? did i miss something?

we have no school and work today so it'll be a fun day.

make chicken soup for dh as promised.
take mom to cancer dr
finish putting laundry away. i washed almost eveything in this house yesterday.
clean out other cabinet. did one yesterday, in between laundry loads.
pick up baby gift for friend.
take 365 pic

ok that will get me rollin'.

A federal and state holiday today for us too.

My to do list: Actually because of having today off it's more of a can do list for me.

Go to physical therapy with DH.
Go purchase a bed for the guest room. When DH went to R & F they wanted to change $75 for delivery.
Have lunch out with hubby. (this is my can do item )
Pick up a few items at the grocery store.
Do I have a mini Mt. Washmore in my master bathroom.

It's a holiday here too so DH and DS are both still sleeping. I'm not sure what our plans for today will be.

Oh, and DS did awesome at the District Thespian Competition this weekend. The ensemble singing/dancing number he was in got straight across the board Superior scores so he gets to go to State!!!!!!! I'm so proud of him. From what I've heard, State is awesome because not only do they get to perform, but there are workshops and classes there too that he can attend. Yay DS!!!!!

My day:

Make another Sci-Fi car set for the HS swap. For some reason I thought I needed 5 sets, but I need 6. Done
Work on my last group for the HS swap
Start on CJ
Do something with DS and DH

One kiddo is still sleeping, so I'll vacuum after he wakes up. DONE

Take kiddos to Chili's for lunch. They see that lunch special on tv and want it. Didn't even know they liked soup that much.
Finish prepping box to send to 123SA.

DIT's DS ~ Congrats way to go!!!

News on our homefront: DsS17 was accepted to state w/ BPA (business professionals of America) for his website design!!! He will be gone for 2-3 days downtown they have testing/seminars/and their project judging. DH and I are planning on attending..his mother can't decide if she wants to go or not.. I'm going cause I want photos!!! I got photos this wknd of his district medal and award.

We did HS scheduling for 3 kids this weekend...and I'm about over it!

Today:
finish and put away laundry
dental appts @ 10AM for the 3 kids and myself done; new appts made for 6 months; new appt for DS12 to have 5 baby teeth removed that won't go on their own!

beds made
kids to clean their own rooms (just putting things away)

Made the eye dr appts...all of them. Contacts cost $$$. I never knew...

The friendship bread goes on indefinatly. You just keep feeding the stuff, and dividing. This time I only kept 1/4, so I'll only be making 1 loaf in 10 days. It was a total hit though. Everyone loved it!

Well, I'm the one who takes photos every where..so they will get a life time book and sport book combo from me when they graduate... It's sad that she doesn't take photos of every day and important things..but at least they know Dad and I will be there. Got some other tid-bits today at the dentist office about her too.. (shakes head... priorities!)

Overall got most of it done... got lots to do..but have to be up early tomorrow for a mtg. w/ the guidance counselor for DD.. too many you can, no that doesn't count, no that is not AP/ACP (advance placement/college placement) eligible.. so I'm going directly to the counselor.. If so, DD will be taking 5 AP courses between her Junior & Senior years! NOT forced, she was the one who inititated the interest to take those courses...and I'd love to see her do it! She will graduate w/ over 60 credits (some of which will go directly to college!)!!!
