This is our first time and I don't see a lot for them there, thinking is gonna be a rather short day but have read a lot of posts saying there is a lot to do there for little kids.
Thanks in advance!

DS2 likes to do Figment, Ellens Adventure, Nemo, and the boat ride Living with the Land. We also visit Innoventions and do the activities. We also do the Boat Ride in Mexico and Norway. There are alot of things to do if you go when they have the Flower & Garden Show or during any other special events taking place.

For the under three crowd, you will have to visit the Nemo ride, turtle talk with crush and the living seas. They're all in the same pavilion, so makes life easy! :)

Journey into the Imagination could be a hit, but it depends on the child. There is a part of the ride that is momentarily dark and loud.

The kidcot stops in all of the countries are ok if your child likes to color. At the very least, it will give you a chance to check out the country for a few minutes.

If you want characters, Classic Mickey, Minnie and goofy meet at the character spot and various characters meet throughout world showcase.

Oh, and if you want to let them run a bit, there is the garden area in England that is often a little quieter. :) enjoy!

To add to the above, Turtle Talk with Crush is lots of fun too and my DD loved the Kidcot stops around WS

Depending how she feels about characters, there are numerous meet and greets around World Showcase and there is also the character spot.

DD's Epcot favorites haven't changed since she was 3 and include: Spaceship Earth, Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk, Figment, Gran Fiesta Tour, Innoventions and The Seas. She also loves Serveur Amusant (France) and Matsuriza (Japan) in the WS.

You said it might be a short day but quite honestly, the thing that my son (now grown) and our two grandkids loved was the entertainment in World Showcase. All of it is very open so you can stop for just a bit or, if your kids really are getting into it, stay for the entire set. There's almost no seating so it really is stop-and-go. And most viewing will have lots of space for the youngsters to get out of the strollers and dance if they want.

To me, that is a joy at Disney World - seeing kids having fun they might not remember but their parents will.

My DS' first trip was when he was 4 (2 years ago) and he really loved (and still does) the Living Seas, both the aquariums, Nemo ride and Crush. He also loved Spaceship Earth, we rode it about 5 times our first day. After that, the things he liked were Living Land ride, Journey into Imagination. The character spot was also a good one for him, he loves the M&Gs.

There are tons of characters: Winnie the Pooh, Alice, Mary Poppins, Mulan, Belle, sometimes Beast, Mexican Donald, the Fabs at the Character Spot, Duffy Bear, Snow White, Aurora, Marie from Aristocats.

Nemo, Living with the land, Turtle Talk with Crush, Kidcot stops, the miniature train in Germany, the jumping water spouts, Figment into the Imagination, Spaceship Earth, MoRockin, Off Kilter, Innoventions, Gran Fiesta Boat ride, Chinese acrobats, the chair show in France (Can't think of the name), the Circle of Life.

Oh and our children were mesmerized by the Voice of Liberty. Just mesmerized!

And of course, we snacked around the world!

Be sure to grab the daily guide when you arrive and you can see the various times of all the shows/characters.

All of the above (innoventions has a surprisingly lot to do) plus the Jammitors, the drummers in Japan, and the hedge maze in UK.

Everyone else nailed the kids must dos. One thing our kids love is the model train set at Germany pavilion. They could spend awhile watching those things. Have fun on your trip!

My kids always loved Communicore and they to this day still love World Showcase and the shows and the KID COT portion.

Thanks to everyone I really needed your advice! Everything sounds like a lot of fun!

Do the kidcot stations still stamp passports? My 3yo nephew loved building his collection around the world showcase a few years ago.

In our family, we almost can't go wrong with any part of Epcot.

The correct answer with that age, is simply let them have fun with whatever they happen to find and enjoy. the beauty of Epcot is that you can enjoy most of the park without having to stand in a line.

The Kidcot stations are fun, though you may want to preface the experience by saying you'll do coloring later.

The kids in our family have enjoyed all the gardens, like the mini train garden near Germany. During the flower festival there are just too many to list.

After dark, be sure to check out the light up tiles on your way to the front gate.

Beyond that, if the adults want to go on any big rides, know that you can take the little ones into what we call the 'post ride area'. Mission:Space has a great play area for kids. Test Track has all kinds of fun options- like climbing in new cars, games.

The whole Living Seas is great fun for little kids. the Land is always a favorite, too. Imagination is not scary, and the post-ride area is a shadow of it's former self, but it still has a few fun things to discover.

Mexico is fun. Norway can be a tiny bit scary for the very tiny (many kids don't mind)...one way to avoid getting scared is to promise you'll growl at the polar bear before you go. And maybe promise to laugh at the trolls, or some other silly thing.
The world Showcase ahs some of the best dining in all of WDW. Including lots of good quick serve options.

We love the Japan gift shop. Lots of great things for kids there. Many items are even a bit educational!

If the fireworks are a bit too loud, we have discovered over the years, that you don't have to stand on the water's edge to see them. There are lots of places where you can sit on the pathway curb all the way on the opposite side of the main pathway and still see them quite well. It might also help to get a light up toy, bring glowsticks, or get even a snack to nibble. A pastry from Norway, France. A bit of caramel popcorn from Germany. Gelato from Italy. An ice cream bar. All are all good bets.

Oh, another huge hit are the fountains outside Imagination. They are at the top of the steps- so slightly out of the way. You can play catch a raindrop.

I would say the Nemo ride and the aquariums and the jumping fountains near Captain Eo and Journey to Imagination. My kids always loved watching and playing with the fountains.

All of the above for my daughter when she was 2 1/2 and then again when she was 4 1/2. She especially loved this piggy bank game in Innovations, she still talks about doing it 2 years later. We would do it a couple of times we were there each time.

As these posts indicate...there is a lot there to do for kids. Highlights will probably be Nemo and Turtle Talk with Crush, as well as the boat rides in Mexico and Norway.

Also, if you like rides, Test Track has a single rider line. And, I believe you can use the child-swap pass for Test Track or Soarin. That way the 1st adult can ride while the 2nd adult stays with the child. - Then they switch and the 2nd adult goes through the fast pass line.
