At EPCOT now Anna n Elsa OH MY!

How about adding them to MK when the Mine Car opens up. Snow White meets guests over by the Mine Train. Merida moves over where SW is at now. Then Elsa and Anna take over Meridas current spot.

You think these are the two highest paid Princess at Disney?? :lmao:

I think I would do it for free! Well, as long as they gave me room and board and food!!

Too bad I don't look like any of the princesses or I would very seriously consider auditioning myself! Oh, and I'm 38. Lol
Are there any 38 year old Disney characters??? Haha

Anna and Elsa's mom right before she boards the ship? :rotfl:

We might see this. I can't see why they wouldn't want to sell breakfast pastries and coffee to the early risers. It won't cut into the Akershus profits because people are booking those tables full for an entirely different set of reasons than the food.

and they could event sell a Frozen themed mug for your coffee or juice or whatever that you can only get while waiting in line

Or T-shirts that say "I survived being Frozen in line"

Oh wow, I don't get how anyone would possibly wait that long for a M&G. I have boys who would no doubt love to meet them but I don't do any M&G with more than a half hour wait. And thankfully they are happy to meet whoever.

Except for the kids for whom those characters are the most important.
But isn't the jumping off point of this thread that the Frozen girls are, at the moment, "the most important"? Remember the meet and greet tent in Tune Town? It was catch as catch can. Never quite sure who you were going to see. If your kid's favorite character right now is Baloo, there is no meeting area for him. Sure, some kid's favorite is going to have to take a vacation. But that's life. Supply and demand. Right now, the demand for Frozen outpaces everything, and yet they have the area least conducive to an orderly meet and greet. That can't make sense to anyone on any level. When the demand dies down, then adjust.

Great idea!

FYI, it stopped raining and now Norway is a mob scene! Omg!

I didn't say it wasn't hard work(my difficult reference was to hiring girls...there is obviously a lot who apply), I actually said I get paid more and their conditions are worse. I get their job and again, I said it wasn't for everyone, but still they must have lots applying or the pay would be higher. That is simple supply and demand. I also think they could pull from their current princess pool. The features of ana and elsa are vague enough they could use many ones they have working there already. I think this has an easy solution for a company like WDW. I think it is a shame little children are getting to WDW thinking they may meet their new favorite princess(b/c it is an advertised M&G and not a reservation/dining experience) and the line is too long. I know WDW can't make everyone happy, but this seems like a no brainer and at a time where their pr is less than stellar...FP+, DAS etc. this is a good way to show people that they will quickly fix an issue for the best interest of their guests happiness when they can.

It can't be that difficult if they only pay up to $16 an hour. If it was hard to do, it would be hard to find, thus making the pay higher.
Um, you just said "it can't be that difficult" followed by "if it was hard to do, it would be hard to find, thus making the pay higher." This doesn't make sense. Then- you keep on mentioning that you make more than $16 an hour....and I can't figure out why that matters here. I completely disagree with your understanding of supply and demand because I don't believe it applies to the entertainment industry. Actors and models are known to work for free or very little when they are just starting out...hoping to get discovered.... just to get into SAG... build a portfolio and resume. There will always be a huge turnout and lots of interest for any paid entertainment jobs especially working for a huge entertainment giant like Disney.

I don't necessarily agree with nugov's position but "hard work" and "difficult" or "hard to do" aren't the same thing. The most menial tasks can be hard work even though they are easy to do.

There already are at least two sets of sisters

When we were in line for almost 4 hours I think there was at least 2 shift changes but no "breaks". . one pair went out and another came skipping in (quickly). I think they only do 1.5 - 2 hour shifts.

My joke was a 3-4 hour wait in the Frozen line went by quicker than the 47 minutes I spent in "Ellen's Energy Adventure"

Goodness, I thought the wait for the sisters at DLR was madness (typically a 2 hour wait). This is pure insanity though. Is there only one Anna and one Elsa at Epcot? There are two sets at DLR (but for whatever reason Elsa is absent sometimes in the afternoon, but Anna is always there). It sounds like at least both sisters at Epcot are present all the time during the M&G. Imagine waiting in line for hours and only one of them being there. :scared1:

So the key is to pray for rain? Makes sense, actually.

Last year, when there during Easter break, crowds were pretty crazy - particularly at MK. One day, however, we had a 4:30 dinner ADR at 'Ohana ( ) and it was raining pretty good for most of the afternoon. Perfectly, right after we finished dinner, it stopped raining and we hopped on the monorail to MK. It was great. We did more in those next 4-5 hours than we could have done over 2 full days at MK at any other time throughout the week. So yeah, rain can be your friend sometimes. Probably not with the Anna & Elsa meet & greet, but maybe with the rest of WDW.

Since both Aurora and Snow White meet at Epcot (and various character meals) and are nowhere near as popular, I would switch Fairytale Hall at MK so one side is Cinderella and Rapunzel and the other side Anna and Elsa. These lines are already equipped for Standby and FP+ and it would alleviate the Norway wait.

As it is, we just went with a Frozen loving 5 year old and we just did not tell her they were meeting at Norway.

In May, I am going again with a different 5 year old and actually have an 8:05 Akershus reservation but unless I can eat and get in line by say 8:45 or so and not wait more than 45 minutes (which does not seem possible reading this thread) I will cancel the reservation and not tell this 5 year old about the M&G either.

dif·fi·cult (dĭf′ĭ-kŭlt′, -kəlt)

adj.

1. Hard to do or accomplish; demanding considerable effort or skill; arduous: "To entertain is far more difficult than to enlighten" (Anthony Burgess). See Synonyms at hard.
2. Hard to endure; trying: fell upon difficult times.
3. Hard to comprehend or solve: a difficult puzzle.
4. Hard to please, satisfy, or manage: a difficult child.
5. Hard to persuade or convince; stubborn.

I have a friend that just waited 4.5 hrs yesterday and a group in front of them was offered $500 for their spot when they were at the 2hr wait.

Wow I hope they make that a FP+ option for those going peak times. I can't imagine waiting that long for anything, that is crazy!

We will be there at the end of May/beginning of June...a.k.a peak time, and thought since we will be having breakfast in Norway at 8:05am, we could surely get in line and it not be too long since we always are done eating before the park opens. Boy was I wrong! I agree with the PP that Disney should make this M&G a FP+ location. I am in awe with reading the wait times just to meet 2 princesses.
