We are eating a snack at the rainforest cafe. One of our fav traditions.
I will try to keep everone updated.

It has been the best day ever. Not just at DL I mean the best day DVD and I have ever spent together!! Simply amazing and fun and romantic. We are getting ready to go to dinner. I wish this day didn't have to end.

It really was the best trip. We have gone about a dozen times in the past 2 years and this was the shortest but best trip!

We stayed at the PPH for the first time. I have always wanted to but DBF thinks it is just a wast of $$ So he said we could book it and "get it out of my system, so that way I could see that it was nothing special"
Oh boy was he wronge! I was on I love love love it!!!! We have kin always stayed at hotels that we have to use the ART. Which isnt bad but it just eats up so much time. You can't beat there price of $39 a night for a nice clean good room, but its just so far away.

Anways so we drove down and got to PPH at about 10pm. I loved it. They were said we could upgrade to a park view room that has 2 queen beds or have a normal view and have the king. I wanted the park view but they only thing DBF really wanted was the king bed, so I did the unthinkable and said no to the free upgrade
The bell hop said only 70 people had checked in that day!

We rode everything we wanted to. Ate at the little bar/lounge thing in the hotel which was very great price and really good food.
Yes DL did close early the days we were there, and yes some things were closed (tea cups, alice, and toontown) but we dont do thoese things anyways. We were the last ride on jungle cruze before it closed down for the day because of the water levels were getting too high from the rain.

I would 100 % recomend everyone going in the rain. It was really amazing.

No DBf didn't like the hotel as much as I did. He said it had nothing better then the other hotels we have stayed at just $100 a night more. Me I thought it was wonderful. And I can not get over how amazing it was to just walk there.

Nikki - I honestly think the DCA view rooms at PP are the second best you can get anywhere at DL (my fav's are DTD Grand Ca rooms, but are always very pricey). I love that hotel and think they have many merits. I think you should have gone for the view room. They really are "all that". Anyway, glad you had a great trip and enjoyed PP and the DLR.
