We arrived on Saturday and are having a blast. We've had a little rain off and on but it felt GREAT. It's pretty darn hot! I've only seen a hand full of love bugs. If you're heading this way - it's a great time to be here.

We've been able to pretty much walk on all the rides, especially earlier in the day. It gets a bit more crowded later on but nothing unbearable.

I'm sure it varies, but our friends just returned and seemed to rain mainly in the late afternoon/evenings. They were able to get most things done during the day.

Well, today we had some rain around 1pm. Yesterday we had rain around 11:30. But it rains hard, the slows up, stops and gets sunny again! No biggie!!

Here's some pixie dust for no more love bugs and short rain spells pixiedust:

We are joining the party on Sunday! A little heat and rain at WDW is better than the best day at work.

HM reopened on the 13th. ;)

OP, what are you doing posting here while you're in WDW?! We'll be here when you get back...enjoy your vacation!

Just got back yesterday. It was cloudy through most of our trip with a little rain thrown in (mainly in the evening, but it did rain off and on for most of the a.m. one day). The crowds were thicker than last year, but still no waits early in the day. The love bugs were nowhere to be seen when we arrived but were getting thicker by the day.

Anything else?

:) Just checking in during some down time. I usually post when I'm ready to head out but am waiting for my hubby or like now, the kids are in bed and I'm online checking emails and such.

Went to MGM tonight to Mama Melrose and then Fantasmic. The show was great, the meal was not. :sad2: We had eaten breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then headed to the water park for the day. No one ate lunch we just had a little snack to hold us over until this amazing dinner we were going to be having. It was as far away from amazing as possible. My chicken parm was blah, my father's meal had NO flavor whatsoever and it was supposed to be spicy! Heck, even my cranberry juice was watered down to the point of having virtually no flavor. (and there was no ice in my glass) My daughter's apple juice was the same way. The only good thing was the dessert. Mama Melrose will definitely not be on our agenda in the future. :sad2:

The Haunted Mansion (as mentioned already) is open and we went on that our first night. Everyone enjoyed it, we are a group of 12 ranging in age from 3 to 85!

Glad you are having a good trip. Sorry about your not liking Mama Melrose. We have eaten there the last two years. My DH had the chicken parmesan this year and he said itw as wonderful; I have had the 4-cheese flatbread pizza and thought it very tasty.
