At Dis Now...Pleasure Island info?

Hi. We plan on going into Pleasure Island with friends. Haven't gone into any of the shows in years. What can I expect and which should I go to? Do we need ressie's? Are any dinner shows? Looking for all and any info..thanks!

Pleasure Island opens at 7 pm. You can walk in, enjoy the street entertainment and buy a drink at one of the outside bars, without paying admission. If you decide to go into one of the clubs, the price, if it isn't included on your ticket would be $18.06, which includes tax. There are 8 clubs... 2 comedy clubs, a Jazz club and 5 dance clubs, that include Manniquins (has a revolving dance floor, is a 21 and older club), Motion is the club most of the 18-25 year olds frequent. The music is techno, for the most part. Rock n Roll Beach Club is classis rock and often has a live band, 8 Trax is a 70's/80's dance dance club, and BET Soundstage is a 21 and older club that plays Urban/Hiphop. The 2 comedy clubs are Comedy Warehouse, which is Improv. The shows last about 30 minutes. There are 4 shows Sunday through Wednesday and 5 shows Thurs through Sat. The Adventurers Club is also a comedy club based on the 1930's Old English Men's Clubs. It is zany and you never know what is going to happen in there. Honestly, we have gone in at the beginning of the night and stayed until the end! Watch out for those bar stools, too! The Jazz Club is very classy, and they often have live performers. If you like jazz, this is definitely worth checking out.

There are no sit down restaurants within the confines of Pleasure Island, but there are 4 in the Marketplace, to the right and 4 in the Westside, to you left. There are hotdog stands, etc within PI.

Some bars have live music without reservations... It's places like the HoB where you'd need reservations, but if you're open to any old thing, just bar-hop.

Vote for going to the Adventuers Club.
Just make sure you stay for a while or you will be thoroughly confused.

Thanks for the info..just what I was looking for. Guess it's safe to leave our room now for the parks, without our long undies LOL! Off to have fun,,,and Adventures Club it is, with hopefully one show at the comedy club!
