We're doing a series on the Ten Commandments - the pastor skipped a couple ahead to "Thou shall not commit adultery" - our preacher talked a little, then gave us the "ultimate illustration" - a couple GOT MARRIED! During the service! Our jaws mostly dropped - it was a secret to most of the (about 1500) congregants!
It was just the bride and groom, her dad gave her away.
I thought it was awesome - they wanted to get married, without the whole bridesmaids/groomsmen thing - but wanted to get married in the church. It worked!
