at BWV now

When my Dh & I arrived Sun. afternoon about 2pm our standard studio was ready. Took our room key & headed to the 1st floor. Imagine my surprise, the room is on the pool side. We are across from the laundry area for the DVC people. We ended up in a handicapped studio, not a problem for us, except the use area in the bathroom. Not a large enough area to put all our "stuff". Problem solved - chair put in bathroom to hold everything & it works well. Next problem, DH sleeps on the side of bed where there isn't a night stand, ok, instant night stand out of the ironing board. Just can't iron when he naps in the afternoon! That night when showering, I found out that the pipes for the shower sound like a helicopter is overhead. Really noisy, & this morning I could hear the neighbor's shower doing the same thing. All of this is stuff we can live with, especially liking the west facing room. It's a little darker in the morning, & having the laundry across the hall is great. It's just great being at Disney in wonderful weather!

It sounds like I had the same room you had in November. Everything went well for me too. The lesson I learned was to ask "not" to be in a handicap room upon checkin.

We are also waiting for a storm to begin here. There is a storm warning from
10pm tonight till 10pm tomorrow (Wednesday).
I work in a school and the school system has already cancelled school for tomorrow ! Must be a BIG one coming !

Saw the new light show at MK tonight. The castle is a light show about 15 minutes before the fireworks. It was wonderful - the castle changes w/the lights, pictures are shown upon it, sometimes the castle becomes a rocket, sometimes it is looks to be made of wood - it is an amazing show!

Heading home tomorrow - not looking forward to the weather. Very freezing weather in TX, plus some nasty ice, snow, etc. Hoping that it will be better when we get there.

Not a morning person, so the 6am call is going to be bad. If you are in WDW, be sure to see the MK castle light show, great, GREAT!!!

Not to worry you, but make sure to check your points when you get home. I wasn't sure if you read my other post but we got "upgraded" only to find out that they took points from me without my consent.

So just make sure your pool view room costs standard points.
